[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Happy Hair People in exchange for my honest review. This is a gentle shampoo that does not overly strip my fine and curly hair of moisture. Its sweet orange fragrance is uplifting and energizing. I like that it does not contain any ingredients that aggravate my Pityrosporum Folliculitis/Malassezia ("fungal acne") condition. The shampoo leaves my hair clean and does not overstrip my scalp like a clarifying shampoo would. I think I would reconsider purchasing this shampoo in the future.

First off, the formula is rich but lightweight, making it perfect for anyone with dry or thirsty hair. It has a subtle, refreshing scent that’s not overpowering, which I appreciate. The shampoo lathers nicely and rinses out without leaving any residue behind, which can sometimes be an issue with hydrating formulas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently been using the hydration shampoo in conjunction with the hydration conditioner. I was very pleased to see that it's sulphate free. As someone with coloured hair, I find that sulphates strip the colour a lot faster. It's also vegan and cruelty free, which tick two other important boxes (where cruelty free is a non negotiable). The shampoo itself is quite thick and luxurious feeling in my hand, and it lathers gently with more bubble than I was expecting for a sulphate free product. The shampoo smells amazing. Straightaway I can smell the orange oil. It's very clean and fresh, and it lingers in my hair after drying. I've had ladies at my Women's Institute meetings ask me what I use in my hair as it smells so good. It uses happy Moodscentz+ fragrance technology proven to boost mood, and it definitely gives me a little boost on days where I need a bit more self care. My hair is left feeling smooth and clean, and my scalp doesn't get that squeaky clean dried out feeling I get with other shampoos. It just feels clean and refreshed. The bottle is a really cute yellow colour, and I like the size and shape. The top unscrews easily, so I can scoop out product remnants once it starts to run out.

Usually I find I have to stick with the same couple of brands, or my hair feels greasy and unclean. This left my hair feeling lovely! It doesn’t have an overpowering scent, which is great. The packaging is appealing, stands out because it’s so bright. Price dependent, I’ll definitely be using it again in future

I wanted to wait to use it a few times before reviewing so I could see true results and I can honestly say it is a mood booster! The fact it is cruelty free is a must for me with any hair, skincare or cosmetics! (Suitable for vegans & totally sulphate free) Love the bright yellow bottles with simple design- I also love that both bottles are designed the same way up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thoroughly enjoyed using these happy hair people shampoo & conditioner these past couple of weeks, I love that they have a light citrus scent that isn’t overpowering at all and just nice enough to smell fresh after washing. Typically I would get dried out hair after a day or two of washing and I hated the feel too. I started to feel a difference after the second time using this combo to wash my hair and after a search online I’d like to say its good value for money. The fact that its sulphate and parabens free is excellent too as this works perfectly for washing my dyed red hair, as its the sulphates and parabens in other brands that wash out dye even quicker (along side hot water) The only thing that lost a star was I wish they were a larger size to last a little longer as I have quite long / thick hair so it does take a decent amount to wash the entirety of my hair. But I’d definitely recommend this if you suffer with dry hair!

The scent is just delightful, being boosted with orange oil, which is both calming and boosted my happiness. It is a feel-good fragrance that stays on the hair at least 2 days, which is incredible. I had quite dry hair because of the cold weather and this shampoo made wonders in making it soft, shiny and easily manageable.
