Happy Medium Roast Ground Coffee - 12oz

Wanted to get good coffee so tried this. Thought we needed a new coffee maker it was so weak and not good…turns out it was the coffee.

It's like Folgers quality. Not good. And for $12??!! No no.

excellent coffee! good rich smell and terrific flavor. Served it to my elderly aunt when she was visiting last week; she'd never tried it but was very impressed.

The coffee tastes really good - nicely balanced and no bitterness. The packaging is fine. However, the coffee is expensive - you can get other PREMIUM brands for much less. I will only purchase again if on sale or the price comes down. Perhaps they can alter the packaging to lower the cost to the consumer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Happy released a very good product. This medium roast coffee is just what this mamma needs to get her going in the am. It’s flavorful with subtle berry notes, it tasted very fresh, overall a very good blend. The design of the packaging was very different but the container itself was a miss in my opinion. The top was very hard to remove, too large to comfortably grasp. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall I would recommend this product to others.

The packaging was cute and probably helped keep the coffee fresh, but we took it in a family vacation and drank it pretty quickly. It’s are to say that it was a hit with our out of town family, too. The packaging was different and kind of tricky to open but, after a couple times I got the hang of it. The coffee was easy to put in the coffee maker but, was a bit more thick in its ground than I am used to. The coffee itself was more of a fruity flavored coffee and that kind of threw me off. If you like a slight berry or fruit taste this would be great for you! I’m a medium roast classic blend all day. Overall it was not a bad coffee but, not a flavor I’d continue to by for my particular preference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a occasional coffee drinker that uses a large amount of cream and sugar, I was pleasantly surprised with this coffee. I found the taste exceptionally flavorful without the harshness that I've experienced other brands. I only used a splash of creamer instead of my usual 70/30 mix. Happy coffee didn't leave me with the jitters but gave me the energy I needed to start my day. My husband, who is an avid yet very picky coffee drinker, absolutely loves this coffee and added it to our Amazon auto ship order. A huge thank you to the Steller Product Testing for introducing me to this coffee!

The taste was comparable to a medium roast, not too strong and not too light. The packaging is different than most coffee bags and comes in a white plastic recyclable container. It keeps the coffee fresh.

I, personally, cannot go a single day without at LEAST 2 cups of coffee. I am pretty set in my ways and committed to what I like, but I was happy to give this a try! Back in high school, I used to put chocolate syrup in my coffee-so I thought for sure I’d love this! But I do find the combination of chocolate and berries to be a bit odd (to me!) and I’m not crazy about the after taste that comes with this coffee. I really wanted to love this, and I do love things about it - maybe I just need to find the right amount/flavor of creamer to add to this, since I just added what I usually use in my coffee. This will not be my daily drink, but I do see myself pulling it out from time to time to give it another try…which is saying a lot, because I’m a picky gal. I really love the container that the coffee comes in, it’s attractive and it looks and fits better in my cupboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently recieved the happy fresh magnificent medium roast ground coffee in the 12 ounce packaging as part of the stellar Product testing program. The coffee was fresh ground, and tasted very similar to the higher end coffees I’m used to drinking. I’m not one to drink it straight black, I use a lot of creamer, and the blend was very smooth with a great taste. The most exciting part of the coffee for me was the packaging. It wasn’t your normal packaging, the bright white & pink bpackaging was a refreshing package that really stuck out. It sealed tight & kept the flavor in well & kept the coffee fresh. Ill def be buying more happy magnificent medium roast in the future as a change from my normal coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel I received this Magnificent Medium Roast Ground Coffee. When I first opened the container I wasn't impressed with the aroma. I didn't smell much coming from the grounds. There was no directions on it specifying how much of the grounds to use per cup. I made it with the same amount of scoops I use for my regular brand. I did get a nice aroma of fresh coffee while it was brewing. I drink my coffee with cream so I made my cup the same way. I would more call this a light roast. It is a smooth coffee without an acidic or bitter taste. I can't really describe the flavor. It is definitely a little different than regular coffee however I don't taste any berry notes as described. However I do find the flavor as pleasant but mild. I like the container. I find it fits in my cupboard better than a round can or a messy bag. The cover seals perfectly. I have found scooping the grounds out to be easier especially as I've gotten further in the container and it has stayed just as fresh as the day I opened it. I already have plans on how I'm going to upcycle this container when it's empty!

When I received this coffee the first thing that I noticed was the very practical and recyclable packaging. The coffee is packaged in a plastic recyclable container with a foil seal for freshness. When I opened the coffee the first time, I was struck with a pleasant coffee scent. It is a versatile ground that I used for cold brew, hot drip coffee and French press. Although all methods were delicious, the drip coffee was my favorite. The flavor had the promised berry notes with a slightly bitter after taste. Overall it was a smooth brew and lovely to drink. I would say that it is about equivalent to other coffee products that are available at retailers for about equivalent price. The amazing part is that the brand gives back to the NAMI, the largest mental health organization in the US. Overall a great coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a big coffee household and thought this was a solid option for the weekday rotation when we don't have time to grind beans, need to use our drip coffeemaker for efficiency and are drinking it on the go. I always drink my coffee black and had no complaints with the flavor - thought it had a good, middle-of-the-road balance. I really liked the packaging for storage and ease of scooping (especially once it got closer to the bottom - easier to see/get out than in a bag), but the lid was a bit awkward at times. When the container was fuller, I was afraid some coffee could spill when trying to pop the lid off. That said, I still think I'll definitely reuse it for storage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this coffee. My first impressions were that the marketing was clean and lively, and the packaging was great for storage. I loved that the container made it easy to scoop out what I needed and put the lid right back on and into the cupboard without spilling or rolling up and securing a package (although, when it is brand new and totally full it is a little hard to get the lid off without spilling). The taste fits the description. I definitely got the notes of berries and chocolate, but the flavor wasn’t as strong as I typically like. If I tried to brew it stronger, it tasted a little too acidic. I would be willing to try the darker roast from this brand as I really do like the way it is packaged in a small container, it stays fresh, and it is easy to prepare. The packaging is lovely and suggests that one can be happy enjoy their coffee. The initial smell of the coffee in the container was pleasant enough, but in tasting it I found the flavor to be entirely too bitter for my liking. It was smooth enough and looked very nice, but even with cream and sugar the bitterness still came through. I would not buy this particular coffee to keep in the house going forward.
