Hardside Large Checked Spinner Suitcase - Open Story™

This suitcase is actually amazing. It holds sooooo much and the color is great and I didn’t know a suitcase could be this nice.

We have two of these and they are both garbage. Wheel is coming off one after 4 trips (for us this was just over a year so can’t return it under the owned brand policy for a refund). The other has huge dents in the shell from coming down the baggage claims conveyor belt. Listen to the other negative reviews on this one and spend your money elsewhere. This is too expensive to last for only a handful of uses. There is better luggage out there at a slightly higher price that will last much longer. And unless you’re a very frequent traveler, you may not be able to get a refund in the one-year window when yours falls apart. Final complaint - the size is enormous (seemingly great for long trips) but can hold 60-70 pounds of stuff if fully packed. If you’re not careful, you won’t stay under the 50 pound limit for checked bags imposed by most airlines. Really, truly skip this purchase.

Disappointed. Shell cracked. They put so much thought into this bag, but added a useless warranty. Save your money and apply it towards a bag with a better shell and warranty. I have several open story items and I’m disappointed my large case cracked.

Easy to roll, super nice suitcase….the color went well with my light green Vera Bradley backpack that I was able to slide over the handle….sturdy, and cute…when it came around on the carousel, I knew it was mine…now apparently this color is popular so I had to place a sticker on it to determine mine front the others…beautifully designed….the only thing I wish it had was TSA locks…other than that, it’s a win!!!! Definitely recommend!!

First buy it’s very smooth and rolls nicely. Thought it was a great purchase, until I hit the exact one yr mark and the zipper seam came off of the suitcase. DO NOT BUY. I travel quite often but I have other suitcases that have withstood airport baggage travel and with no issues. Customer service could only credit me a 15$ credit. Not worth the money. Next suitcase will be Beis.

Likes: The color The size Dislikes: It lasted one single flight before the hard shell cracked. Literally one flight. Now I understand that the airport people could’ve been too rough with it. However, the purpose of the hard shell is to protect and handle being tossed around. If I wanted to get something cheap, I would’ve grabbed the same quality suitcase (if not better) at TJMaxx for half the price.

This thing is HUGE!! It was much bigger than I anticipated. So big it wouldn’t fit in my trunk for my trip to Florida. Fortunately my son travels for his job and this luggage allows him to pack ALL his clothes for the two weeks he is gone at a time. Very nice luggage

The interior tore after 2 days. Very disappointing.

It sadly only gave me two trips. It tear from the top.Very spacious though.

I bought this suitcase in May. Used it for a trip (Boston-Ireland-Portugal-Ireland-Boston) It was a good size for a 2 week vacation.(maybe a little too big for European train travel tho) The case did not crack, only a few small scuffs. The wheels and handle worked great, no issues. And I love the light blue color.

I have been using this suitcase a lot for the past year now and it has been amazing. Don't blame the suitcase, blame your airline for being so rough! This luggage is such an amazing quality and I have purchased high quality luggages before. I'd buy this one every single time. Spacious, functional, afforable and smooth.

I have never had a suitcase break in transit, and this one broke on the first trip. The entire wheelbase snapped off. Customer service informs me that the warranty doesn't cover any damage caused while using the luggage! I also don't recommend the light colors as they get marked up and don't come off, even with cleaning products.

Owned this suitcase for a few months. I have used it 2-3 times. The bottom completely shattered.

Excellent size and quality. I’m notorious for over packing and this luggage has so much room! It handled well through a flight and had a couple minor marks on the exterior, but the interior was perfect. The wheels are super smooth too.
