Have been using this for years, but they have recently change the formula from an oil to a gel. Really disappointing. Also the smell is way off from their normal scent. Don’t buy!

Same as other reviwer(s) here, I bought some thinking it would be an oil like back in the day but they've made it a dry gel now which isn't, in my opinion, the way to go here. Having said that, seems to work well, didn't burn once I got it coming through the sprayer. Weird though.

I’ve used this for years. The last 5 bottles have turned to gel and I can’t find anything to fix it. Don’t tell me to call like others. Tell me how to fix it! I bought my most recent bottle 2 weeks ago and it’s solid now!

Only used the product 3 times. On the third time the pump stopped working as if it was clogged and then I noticed the ‘oil’ is more like a goopy gel. Expensive for such a disappointing product.

Extremely disappointing purchase - as mentioned in many other reviews that sadly I had not seen before going on holiday and getting so let down - the consistency and smell are both terrible! This puts me off buying anything this brand every again and I'll warn others. I spent money on this and will now have to spend 3 times as much to buy another good quality oil in the resort... I used to live this product but this is a big problem.

I purchased the island glow protective dry spray oil at the start of summer, took it on holiday and it worked a treat, I had a little left over so took away with me just 3 months later and bought a new bottle for when the first one runs out. Day 2 of the holiday i open the new bottle, it doesn’t spray, it’s a thick gel. Can it still be used ?

Product does not spray. It is not a fine mist, more of a gel, just globs out of the bottle. As much as I like Hawaiian Tropic Products, I would definately NOY recommend this one!

I think there is a bad batch of this going around. I wanted to love this, but the bottle I got smells like acetone. Not at all what I expected, nor what I think it’s supposed to be. I’ll be returning this and looking for a different SPF 15 product.

I bought this a week ago to take with me on vacation to Miami. I was so excited to use this but after the second day the spray stopped working and the product is of gel like consistency. I usually love Hawaiian Tropic, but I will not be buying this product ever again.

Been using Hawaiian tropic products for years with no problems, but this stuff broke me out in itchy hives within hours of use! The hives are now turning to a scratchy rash. I won’t be recommending this product to anybody.

I bought 2 bottles for my holiday to Jamaica when I tried to use spray both bottles wouldn't work as the oil had turned into a thick gel substance. Tried to pour direct out of bottles but just felt and smelt like thick cooking fat. Very dissatisfied

I recently bought this product excited to use it in Florida and when I got off the plane, the spray coagulated such that the spray was unusable. I would not recommend this product if this happens to all of the bottles when traveling.

Not sure what happened but my dry oil spray has turned to gel. It worked fine the 1st time I used it but now you can no longer spray it on. It also now leaves a greasy feel on your skin, it's definitely not dry oil anymore. It still smells like coconut but now it's too hard to use. Not sure why it did this and it's disappointing because it is an almost full bottle.

Ladies and gents, all I have to say is this is the ONE! If you want to look like you just came back from a 2 week Caribbean vacation go buy this! I also have super sensitive skin and had no break outs or rashes! 6 stars. I’ll never use a different brand again.
