I just used this yesterday and was shocked how great it worked. I sat outside for about an hour and got a great healthy glow, but will definitely use sunscreen with it in the summer to avoid a burn.

I was worried about how this would smell and luckily it doesn’t smell too bad. I haven’t seen it work very well, I’m not able to tell if it’s due to the product or the fact that the weather where i live hasn’t been optimal sun. It is a weird consistency to put all over your body.

Pros: has a seal so you can make sure no one has tampered with it before you get it. Cons: has capsicum which is the spice found in peppers. So the tingle you feel isn’t from the product working but the hidden ingredients they sneak into the product

This self tanner is easy to apply and leaves a great color on skin. The smell was mild and texture was a thick lotion feeling. I didn’t notice many streaks the first use and I would recommend for beginners.

This was a huge amount of tanning oil to test! I love that it had a lot of content to try! The oil did have a funky color but the smell was super tropical and made me want to go to the beach! It seemed like a perfect product to use for an additional tanning aid.

I really like that this comes in gel form. That means it’s. It messy and easy to get the perfect amount you need without wasting too much product. It goes on smooth and I love that it doesn’t feel greasy. Unfortunately, we’ve had some unseasonably colder weather so I haven’t been able to get outside to use it very much but it looks promising.
Really enjoyed and stock up on it!

Please remeber to use sun screen under as recommended! And it does have a carroten smell hint of coconut, vanilla nothing strong. Apply evenly. I only used this jar on my legs and have done so about twice ans still have plenty left!

I like this product. I usually tan for an even skin tone. for starters i really like the scent. Its soft and powdery. When applying your skin looks very shiny but not like glittery. Its a very nice tan.

I was skeptical of this product, but as soon as I opened it up, the glorious smell got me so excited. It reminds me of a hot summer day in the tropics. I didnt exactly know what to expect and was afraid the lotion would stain my fingers, so I cautiously applied a tiny bit to my leg. It rubbed in great and left my skin soft. It was a little oily but that seemed to go away after drying a bit. It does warn you to not over expose in the sun, so little spurts in the sun will hopefully be enough. We haven’t had enough sunny days to lay out with the lotion on, but I’m excited to see how this works once it spring is here.

Tanning gels have to have several things going for them for them to be worth it. This Carroten tanning gel has several things going for it. First, the smell is great! It’s like a mix between vanilla and Coca-Cola. It is not super thick. It rubs on really smooth and thin and soaks in with a nice shine. The tan takes some time to develop, but feels light and not sticky at all. The only thing to be aware of is that you should avoid the sun while using the product, so it shouldn’t be used on a day outside.

Carroten has a really good smell to it. Easy to apply feels a bit oily. I didn’t notice any extreme tanning difference and I felt like it dried my skin out. Be advised it has no spf at all so you can’t be out too long with it on.

This gives a very very slight tint, it’s for helping your tan when spending time in the sun. I only was in the sun for about 1/2 hour and it did seem like I got more color than I normally would. I am fair completed so even a small time in the sun is enough. It smells like vitamin e oil and is very moisturizing.

I received this gel for free from hey bull seller for my opinion This gel works like magic! It enhances your natural tanning process and leaves your skin with a soft, golden tan. One of my favorite things about this product is the scent: it's light and tropical, and gives off that beach vibe.

Unfortunately I can’t really give a true review for if this tanning gel works because I ultimately couldn’t get past the smell. Oddly enough, the smell reminds me of car wax. I tried a little bit on my arm but had to wash it off almost instantly because the smell was so intense for me. I have used other tanning gels and lotions, but nothing that smelled like this before.

I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The tanning gel has a pleasant, subtle coconut scent that isn’t overpowering, unlike some tanning creams. Its formula is silky and creamy, allowing for easy blending, and it leaves your skin feeling nourished and hydrated. This product does not contain SPF, so be sure to apply sunscreen before use. This product is a summer essential. Be mindful when wearing light-colored clothing because it can stain. Overall, it deserves a chef's kiss—it’s an effective tanning gel.

The look of this tanning gel from Carroten can be pretty intimidating. First, it's in a tub container. Second, it's DARK. That being said, it's nothing to be afraid of. It's got a thicker consistency so it's easy to control where you're applying it without being difficult to rub into the skin. You can clearly see where it is too. My skin felt moisturized and got a good sheen to it after using and it wasn't greasy. Overall, it absorbed quickly enough. Due to the sampling period (it's winter) for Hey, Bullseye, I wasn't able to fully test the tanning abilities. I didn't have any real changes in skin tint on its own. With the aforementioned moisture and shine, there is a slightly healthy glow on its own. I would get it 3.5 stars if possible mostly due to the scent. It's not terrible but it's not great. Definitely not my favorite. Sort of typical for a tanning product but different. You definitely get coconut oil in the smell, but also an almost Play-Doh scent.

I didn't love the smell of this. It's not super strong, but enough that I noticed it throughout the day. It gives a beautiful glow with just a tiny bit of tint. I would say it doesn't absorb completely and left my skin feeling a little greasy. Good for laying out to tan and not moving. I didn't notice a huge difference in my level of tan when I wore this outside in the sun.
