It was amazing and highly recommended. It works very well and it does heat up really fast to your comfort. 4 starts because I wish it came with a portable battery for ease of use and not to be next to an outlet.

Set up was straightforward and user friendly, has options for both plugged in and portable power, and the lights are very bright (and warm). Be careful with the intensity levels, as if you have sensitive skin, L5 might cause some irritation. Otherwise, seems like a great product if this therapy interests you. If nothing else, it makes for a good wrap-around heating pad.

I'm a fan of red light therapy. It's breaking through into mainstream health scene. The red light penetrates deeply into your tissues. It's known to to help with inflammation and help the power house of the cell, mitochondria, produce ATP. I know that's going a little deep into it, but I'm a red light therapy fan. With this handy device, you can target a spot easily. It's important to know that the light can't heal what it can't 'see' so best to do it with it directly on the skin. I do like the availablity of plug in or charging it. I really like that it has different power levels. You might as well turn it to full, at least that has been my experience. I have used it for sore arm muscles, tight shoulders and let a friend borrow it for a lower back issue. It does take time though. Some studies I read said that you need to do it for 20 minutes a day at least 4x a week. I do agree with that. To your health!

When I found this I was excited at the possibilities but found it was in need of some improvements to improve the overall function and usability. 1)The lighted surface is encased with a flexible clear plastic that is in contact with you skin area and is cold when it first contcts your skin. This should be improved with a fabric protective layer or an alternative material that is not temperature sensitive. 2) There should be a battery pack included with the unit to power it with replaceable batteries. I would not want to have to purchase a power pack just to power the unit. Having batteries would then make it a portable device which would be amazing. With these minor changes, this device would be a very useful if not excellent device in the marketplace.

I also have back pains I’ve been using it for. I’ve been using it daily and have noticed my pain is somewhat less. It’s convenient that it straps on. It’s comfortable to wear. I can strap it on at my desk or on my couch. It comes w plug ins to use at home or in the car. The settings are super easy to do.
