It burns! I never have a reaction to most products and this eye balm burned and made my eyes water. I tried it two times in a row and both times it burned! Hard pass

Like others have experienced, this also causes my eyes to be extremely itchy and uncomfortable. The gritty texture is not preferred as it really never feels like it soaks in, rather it seeps into corners of my eyes over the day and collects in eyelids.

I was happy to find a product that was so clean. I don't mind the thick texture. Heads up, it's THICK. Think like petroleum jelly or aquaphor. Not the best choice for daytime use if you're going to wear it under makeup. My biggest issue was the product was super gritty. Like it had sand or sugar in it. I could not rub it on the eye area due to this. I reached out to the company who pretty much said "yep, this can happen depending on how the product is stored". Well, that stinks becuase on my end the product went straight from store to my house. So prior to me receiving it there was an issue? It's definitely not a gamble i'm willing to take to see if another batch would be like this.

I LOVE this eye balm!! I’ve tried many Honest beauty products, some I’ve liked, some I haven’t. This product, however, is fantastic. I use it at night, and it leaves my eye lids and under eyes feeling so hydrated and soft! I highly recommend for anyone looking to add some hydration and renewal to their night routine!

I love most of Honest Beauty and Baby products and have bought several products since the company’s beginning. However, this product is a miss for me. I do not like the texture of this eye cream. It’s not very creamy, considering that there are tiny clumps of something like shea butter in it. Also, it burned my eyes. I tried it a few times to make sure that it was this product that was causing my eyes to burn. Not a nice feeling when using it at night before going to bed and having to run to the restroom to wash it off of your eyes to make it stop burning.

Really wanted to like this product since it’s EWG certified but it’s so heavy, even when I dab on the slightest amount. It seeps into my eyes, even when not placed on the lid, and irritates them. My eyes have been swollen, itchy, and I’ve been loosing more eyelashes than normal. One of the facial washes also gave me a terrible reaction as well- so maybe these products just aren’t for me.

I’ve only used this product for a few days. The package was sealed but when I opened the jar the cream was sunken in, there were little globs in it, and the cream had pulled away from the sides of the jar. I assume the globs are pieces of shea butter but I would have thought they would have used whipped shea butter. I was surprised at the condition of the eye cream. It seems to absorb well into my skin - I use very little at a time.

I have tried numerous eye creams and I still had very dry flaky skin around my eyes. I never listen to YouTube videos but One person raved about this. I tried it AND it's excellent. I am on My 4th jar and I highly recommend it.

LOVE this so much for my sensitive skin! So hydrating and works for fine lines and feels amazing. I like the texture for an eye cream - so smooth and doesn’t pull my skin. Searched for something like this for a long time. I noticed some mentioned this doesn’t absorb well - I usually apply this a little thicker and leave until I have to head into work and then I do some additional dabbing and it finishes absorbing. I love the thickness feels so moisturizing.

I’ve been looking for a nice, thick evening balm that does not sting for a long long time. Purchased this on a whim, a little uncertain what to expect and it is a DREAM. It’s rich, smooth and has helped my fine lines in a matter of weeks. It is perfect for dry or crepe-y under eyes. I have exceptionally sensitive skin, tend to react and have irritation problems with most under eye products, and have nothing like that with this. Just total soothing relief. I look forward to using this every evening after washing my face. Keep in mind, this is thick, so I’d recommend this as a part of your nighttime routine and not daytime. I haven’t tried it with makeup, but I can see how there’d be issues with it under a concealer. Cannot recommend this enough. Love love.

I was looking for a heavy balm because I have very dry skin but this balm stings my eyes. It has no fragrance and doesn’t feel bad but after a few minutes my eyes are stinging and watering so bad. I do not have sensitive skin.
