Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Wreckin' Raceway Trackset

I purchased this for our hot wheel obsessed three year old on sale at Christmas. It came down in price immediately after my purchase during another sale. Target price matched and I received the extra discount. Phenomenal. Also, it’s a cute toy. Pretty simple. Fun to crash the monster trucks.

Easy to assemble and easy for kids to reset and set up for each new race. Its a quick race but random winner keeps them guessing every time. My 3 and 2 year old love it.

Returned the next day. Monster trucks wouldn’t even make it to the end of the track. Not a good purchase.

Easy to put together. Solid. 4 year old grandson loved it. Vehicles do not fly up as high as depicted on the box, if your child happens to notice it.

My 3 year old loves this track however we bought additional 1:64 scale trucks as we were suggested they would work and he is really in to super heroes so we got the super hero set and they do not work on the track so I am totally bummed about this :/

Even though we don't watch the series, we have a selection of monster trucks of various sizes and were only missing a dedicated track. The only "obstacle" in this race track is the crocodiles that pop out from the track, but the kids love racing their monster trucks over and over again (my guess is just for the noise it makes, haha). We are happy that the track comes with two extra trucks to add to our collection. The only downside that it's made almost entirely of plastic and in our area is non-recyclable. However, the entire track seems to be well made. We hope for more hours of fun with this track and that it lasts and takes all the 'wear and tear' well.

Once they figured out they could launch cars from the top the of trophy tour, they went hunting for their other Hot Wheels cars! Very easy to set up and store.

Our kids and their friends had a great time playing with it. Even our 2 year old toddler loves playing with it too. The monster trucks was so different than thw regular cars. I like them better because they dont go underneath the couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this toy with my twin toddlers. It offered lots of entertainment for them. It is on the larger side and needs some space for adequate use. The boys love it because it is easy for them to reset and use again and again. It works well with a variety of vehicles other than the ones included. Overall this product was quick and easy to assemble out of the box. It is very sturdy and durable. The only drawback I have seen is that you can't add additional pieces to it. I would have loved if you could add tracks or something else to it. Overall it is a great product!

The best part is that his sisters have been joining in on the fun, racing their monster trucks down the track. It was easy to put together and doesn’t take up too much room either. Great Christmas gift!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old loved this, however the trucks ( 1 or both ) would get stuck at the gate and one of the gates would not open. We tried to twist it to lossen it up a bit, it helped, but still got stuck which would hold up the trucks. My 5 year old didn't care one bit, though. Easy to put together, fun to play with ( besides the annoying part of getting stuck - only for the adults ) and he still plays with it at least once a day. All in all I would recommend. Im sure the plastic will loosen up a bit with time and use. Still a great toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 yr old son has been playing with this for 2 weeks straight and loves it. It’s really huge and keeps his attention for a long time. It’s also extremely durable. It seemed like a lot to put together when I opened the box, but the instructions were really easy to understand and was about to put it together in under 15 mins. The obstacle course works really great, even after he’s been ramming and throwing the trucks all over it. Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool setup, except every time we play with it the trucks collide. Usually one truck hits the hole in the 'river' which stops the other. The end of the course is cool. The two Monster Trucks that came with this toy rock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love it ever since they opened it. They play with it all the time you can store it very easy and its not very big. Its big enough for the two of them to race down the track and see who wins. At the end of it is a trophy for who ever hits it first that pops out.

He especially thinks the little man (figure) is funny when flying through the air and he loves the wrecking track when the red and green bits come out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monster truck raceway is AWESOME (per my 4 yr old, his brother my 12 yr old & my husband 40+ yr old). Love that it comes with all the pieces needed as it comes with two monster trucks that can star racing as soon as it is assembled. The assembly part is not hard at all thankfully - but I had to take off one star as the places where the playset connects can sometimes prevent the trucks from making it through the raceway. For example, there are crocodiles that pop up towards the middle of the raceway. Sometimes they won't stay down. And because it is plastic, the part that connects the end brown piece to the gray cave sometimes causes the monster trucks to stop before getting to the trophy. Thankfully it is only sometimes and it's a great opportunity to teach patience. It is so easy to race alone so you don't have to have another child to play - but it also is a great toy for kids to play together. The playset comes with a little spectator human that can sit in multiple areas - which is so fun for my son. While it is not a small toy, it is impressive to see 4 different areas of the raceway- each with a cool effect. There are two additional things to mention - 1. it can use other monster trucks besides the two it comes with (which is a great opportunity for your child to test out how weight of the truck effects its performance in the race) and 2. The winner changes randomly for the race (it's not always the left lane that wins nor the right) so it is a great opportunity for your child to make a guess before the race and to not cause problems over who gets what lane in the race with more than one child. After a month, this toy is still a favorite for our family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monsterific!! My kid tore through the packaging and built this on his own (he's 7 btw). Monster trucks were a good size and hefty, great for racing. Because of the size I wish it could fold up or break down easily for storage, its narrow, but takes up alot of space due to length. Overall alot of fun, easy to reset, exploding cars... well, exploding off the track once one truck passes the finish line.
