This machine blew up twice. I am a barista and I also followed all of its directions. Coffee everywhere, hot water exploded, disenegraged my cup. Do not buy

I have experienced several espresso machines. This one was for the office break room. I set it up and we were about to enjoy espresso's when the pressure built up IT CAME APART!!! It exploded on us and shot hot coffee grinds, water and broken glass everywhere! So it fell apart on the 1st use. I returned it the next day. It was defective. The lady at target said that they have many returns on this brand. Buyer beware!

There is no instructions? Do I have to download them? It appears that this was an item that was returned, no visual damage, just no instructions. After I know how to work this, I will re-rate

Really easy to use. Much easier to use than a a stove top espresso kettle.. easy to clean. It’s a delicate machine and w/ proper care I can see it lasting a long time. For the price, I’m super happy!

Easy for beginners. My only complaint is that it takes about a minute or two to build pressure to steam milk. I've been using this machine every day since November, and it's been WELL worth the monry.

We got this little machine for Christmas. I really enjoy it. So far we haven't encountered any problems.

I bought this because it was budget friendly starter espresso maker, I’m in grad school, and thought there were enough good reviews. Used it daily for ~3 months and it stopped working. I guess you should just save up longer for a better one. It’s so sad they sell such low quality stuff.

I bought this because I recognized I was spending a lot on my daily coffee habit. I was concerned about some of the reviews but decided to order it anyway. It arrived really quick and is very easy to use! I haven't had any random steam from the top like other reviews. I made sure to read the manual carefully and follow the directions. After making about 5-6 drinks I can say I'm a very happy customer and would recommend it to anyone else looking to invest in their own machine without spending a fortune!

It’s ok the filter is kind of hard to get on but once it’s on it works well. The milk Steamer works great too

It works pretty well. The milk steamer/frother thing is very loud. Make sure to read the directions on the frother if you’ve never used a machine like this. Wait until the espresso starts coming out before turning it on.

Worth for the money spent.

I bought this because it had pretty good reviews and I liked that it’s red, as many of my small kitchen appliances are. I haven’t used an espresso machine for several years, I realized I missed the taste of homemade espresso. It’s tastes better than Starbucks or Caribou. However, the frother leaves a lot to be desired. It heats up the milk well enough but, for how noisy it is, it creates only a small bit of foam to pour on top of the espresso. I end up using a battery operated frother to create more foam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this IMUSA 4 cup espresso & cappuchino maker as I drink coffee everyday! This machine is compact in size and didn't take up any more room than a regular sized drip coffee maker or a single pod coffee maker. Once I switched out my machine for this one, it was nice to see my counter brightened up too, as the machine is red, silver and black in color. I read the included instructions and tried the cappuccino first, however the instructions were a little confusing. Not ever having used a cappuccino machine before, I was a bit lost, but I did get the machine to work, but instead got an espresso! The cappuccino instructions seem to skip a step or leave out the part about milk (Step #7), so at that point and thereafter, I figured something was left out. Overall, the machine works well, it brews quickly and doesn't take up much counter space. The instructions,however, need some fine tuning. Other than that, this is something I would purchase again, as it is well made, has a nice design, and a convenient way to make your favorite hot beverages at home.

I get to play with different flavors that I think would be interesting. Especially around the holidays, I have been making mine with egg nog instead of regular milk. This machine gives me the coffee I want without leaving the house. It also makes great hot chocolate with the milk steamer. Also, the frother isn't that strong, in my opinion. Other than that, I love it, it's super easy to use, and gives a nice cup of espresso pretty quickly. I would definitely buy it and would also recommend it to anyone looking to get an espresso cappuccino maker. The machine isn't big at all and fits nicely on the countertop. And it really is nice to look at. Definitely a good product.
