[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this coffee. We love trying new coffee everywhere we travel and haven’t been able to travel. Our favorite has been in Jamaica. We tried this and it was great! Made our whole house smell like a cafe. It was fresh, taste was great, and we this may be one of our new favorite brands to make at home.

It tastes dark, semi sweet and bitter. I added creamer to mine like I normally do. The kids loved grinding up the beans and seeing the entire brewing process. I loved that they are sustainable and collaborate with farmers. Will purchase.
Delicious! Highly recommend for black coffee lovers.

But since it's an espresso roast, I wanted to try it made in my espresso machine. It brewed a deliciously rich coffee with a warm nuttiness and no bitterness. Though not actually espresso, it still made a delicious latte. Pictured here I used 2 shots of this Intelligentsia Black Cat Sublunar Espresso Dark Roast Coffee, steamed soy milk, and 1.5 oz Torani hazelnut syrup. 😋☕ I would highly recommend for any dark roast coffee lover. I generally drink coffee black, and this was very delicious when I drank black.

I love the texture of the coffee, and think that it’s flavorful and vibrant both before and after brewing. It gives me a little extra energy which is always a great thing, and I love the way it’s packaged. This is a brand I already bought and consumed before getting to test it, and it’s well worth the money!

Not your average or traditionally dark roast blend, it comes with the added benefits of being espresso dark roasted whole bean coffee! It comes in an easy to open/close bag packed from top to bottom with actual whole bean coffee that you will have to use a grinder at home to ground the coffee yourself before you’ll be able to use it!

The flavor is great — I used it to make a latte, and the flavor was on par with other name brand espressos. It yielded a well-pulled shot with plenty of crema. I definitely recommend this bean.

I got the whole beans and used my regular grinder, coffee was super weak. Tweaked the measurements through probably eight different cups, used a brand new different grinder halfway through, still not good. I even ground it super fine for my espresso maker and that was just okay. It may be me and my supplies, but I was not a fan.
