Description
The J.L. Childress MaxiCOOL 4-Bottle Cooler holds up to 4 standard bottles, 3 wide-body bottles or sippy cups plus snacks (or just all snacks!). Includes a non-toxic, freeze-solid 8oz reusable ice pack to keep food and drinks cool for up to 8 hours (in moderate conditions). The MaxiCOOL interior lining pulls up and out for easy cleaning to help prevent odors and mildew (and build up of crumbs!). Snap handles attach the MaxiCOOL anywhere you need it to go, and the front pocket is perfect storage for a bib, napkins, utensils and more.

Q: How long will it keep an item at 36-42 degrees if the ice pack is frozen solid to 0 before inserting it. Is there any insulation in the bag itself?

A: As there are many outside factors that come into play when determining exactly how long an ice pack will last, there is no exact amount of time the ice pack will stay frozen or keep the contents of the cooler cool. Such factors include how frozen the ice pack is, the outside conditions, the temperature of the contents placed in the cooler, etc. The bag itself does have a layer of insulation to aid in keeping contents cool. A: The J.L. Childress MaxiCOOL Four Bottle Bag can fit four of the taller/skinnier Dr. Brown’s bottles, or three of the shorter/wider Dr. Brown’s bottles. However, the J.L. Childress 6 Bottle Bag can fit up to 6 of the taller/skinnier Dr. Brown’s bottles and 4-5 of the shorter/wider Dr. Brown’s bottles.

I use Nanobe bottles. I can comfortably fit two in the cooler. Three and a bit snug but possible. With two bottles, I still have room for a flat ice pack, baby food jar, and a wafer snack for my baby. This is also small enough to fit in his backpack for daycare. I only gave it a 4 star for the fact I can’t actually fit three bottles.

It is sturdy but does not hold four bottles and an ice pack without forcing zipper closed. Ice pack also doesn’t stay cold longer than an hour. Would not recommend if you have to transport more than 2 bottles.

I love this cooler bag it is very well made and sturdy. The lining is very nice as well and coupled with the ice pack it comes with it keeps the bottles cool for quite a long while. The ice pack does however turn hard like a block of ice it is not a gel ice pack just incase you were wondering. It is also very stylish which is always an added bonus!

What a cute little bottle bag. I love the handle on it. It is feels like I am carrying a fancy bag instead of a bottle bag. It keeps the bottles nice and cold. It is very lightweight and very convenient for being on the go.

Okay, I am loving this and here is why. This is the perfect size for bottles and comes with an ice pack already in it. It’s really durable and I haven’t had an issue with any leaking. When your kids are beyond the bottle stage this transitions with them. You can use this for keeping their drinks and snacks cool. It also travels really well. We hike a lot and this is the perfect size to shove a few snacks and drinks in but not so bulky it takes up room. Plus, the little button snap on the handle make it an extra secure measure so you don’t drop it along the way.

This is a great size bottle holder! I really like it! Its not bulky, super tall or super wide! Just right! It has a snap on the handles to put it on a stroller if you're out for the day, a small little (nom-closable) pocket on the outside for spoons for baby food, or a small pack of wipes, cloth etc. The ONLY downside for me, the type of bottles we use, only 3 fit well, the 4th is kind of a stretch and would not hold the ice pack with 4 bottles!

Great bag to transport bottles to daycare and around town. The bag is nice and slim and fits well in the fridge too.

I really like this bottle cooler. Keeps bottles cool for a long time! The snap on the strap allows me to hang from stroller, or luggage or easily attach to another bag. Love the slim style and the pocket is very convenient to hold pacifier or snacks. Its my favorite bottle cooler style. When not using for my children's needs, I use for myself! Really easy to clean too.

I received this as a gift from another Mom friend, as she said I would definitely want a cooler bag that was a bit bigger than the ones that only hold 2 bottles. She was totally right! This holds 4 Dr. Brown's tall bottles if I need it to (like when my girl goes to Grandma's house). I also use it a lot for bottles and snacks, and her bib to keep everything together when we're out. I love the snap on the top as it can easily snap onto anything, and I don't always have to put it inside a larger bag. The interior pulls up to clean with water and soap, which is so important because these things get icky.
