Q: What is the difference between gel and liquid hand soap?

A: I agree with Kaylee that 'gel' and 'liquid' hand soap is usually the same thing, but with this company I think they use 'gel' because the formula for the foaming hand wash is more 'liquid'-like in consistency and they are trying to separate the two forms into a more understandable language. After all, 'liquid' hand soap was so called to differentiate from bar soap. Just remember, if you are buying the foaming hand soap refill, you will need a foaming dispenser bottle - otherwise you will just get a squirt of watery liquid. I think that misunderstanding is what accounts for the bad reviews. With a foam dispenser you will get a nice soapy foam. This has become my favorite hand soap. Just enough lemon scent to be pleasant without feeling you have perfume on your hands.

A: Our Gel Hand Soap Refill is 34 oz, our Foaming Hand Soap is 28 oz. Our 11 oz Gel Hand Soap is pictured on the Gel Refill package while our 9 oz Foaming Hand Soap is pictured on the Foaming Refill package. I don't see the picture you are referencing but hope that helps

Thought they lowered the price, but you actually just get less product now. Used to be 34 ounces and we used this for years and loved it. Then they changed the lemon to a chemical grapefruit smell but still sold it as lemon. Even for the higher price point we would buy again if they changed it back to what it used to be.

I use this to refill my Bath and Body Works pumps. This soap works just fine - cleans well, foams nicely, and smells pretty good. The packaging isn't as easy to handle as Method's refill bottle, but for the price, you can't beat this product.
