Jartop Elite 17.5" Backpack - Embark™

This product so far has been great. I ordered two of these as back up. i use this type backpack for work to carry a lot of my stuff in. i on my second one in four years. The first one i wore it out to the point one of the straps completely broke off. it has enough pockets i can keep my items seperated and easily find them. i know its a students backpack but i am able to utilize it for myself and use it well.

Very disappointed. I thought I was replacing our old Embark jartop backpack with an identical make. This new one is so cheaply made. The zippers are a smaller weight, the ripstop fabric isn’t lined, the laptop padded area is missing its gusseted sides, and the outer fabric on areas that will wear quickly, is far cheaper than the old one. The old backpack lasted 5 years before it needed replacement because of a ripped water bottle pocket. This likely won’t last a month.

This is the best travel backpack. Every time we do an overnight anywhere I want to leave a review because I just love how much this bag holds. My 4yr old daughter and I share it anytime we stay anywhere overnight. It packs a ton and has lots of pockets. Quality is great too.

I purchased this book bag about 7 years ago and have used it every time I travel. No issues at all. I just wanted a new one, just in case. When I opened the box, I immediately noticed it was smaller than the one I currently have. It also doesn't seem as sturdy. I went back and read some reviews, and a lot of people are having the same issues, and it's not lasting more than a couple of months, let alone a few years. It may be okay for light use and I may have gotten a good one, but I don't know because I haven't used it. I think I may return it and wait until I actually need a new one.

I purchased this bag for my son when he was in 6th grade, fall of 2020 and now he is in 10th grade still using the same bag. This school bag is very sturdy. Zippers and stitching are still holding up. It doesn’t even look as if the bag is going on its 5th year of being used. The back of the bag is cushioned, giving great support for the back. I repurchased the same bag recently, not that I’m replacing the other one, but because it’s such a great backpack. I could not pass up on purchasing it when I it available again. I’m sure it will work for traveling, too. It’s roomy and fits a lot, so I’m sure it will be great for weekend travel. You won’t go wrong with this purchase!

Quality of bag overall seems good - but both drink holder pockets ripped on first use. refunded.

Unfortunately this backpack didn’t hold up very well to significant use. I tend to back my bags full and I have a large laptop so I use my backpacks to the fullest. This one tore after just a few uses so it wasn’t sturdy enough for my purposes. For carrying light items, it’s a good option.

My highschool daughter really wanted this backpack and took good care of it. She loved it at first. Then like many others she had problems with the pocket seams falling apart, which makes the pockets useless. She used it for 1 1/2 school years. Very disappointed.

I've actually bought 4, fits my daughter's clarinet along with all her other school stuff. Repurposed the prior year's bag for camping day pack. Washes great.

This is a great backpack for middle schoolers and high schoolers! It fits their laptops, binders and anything else they need. I previously bought one for my child when she started middle school. She is now using it for high school. Great quality for the price!

I bought and returned a lot of travel backpacks because none of them seemed to fit everything I wanted to take on my summer vacation. I bought this bag as a last resort and I’m so glad I did. It’s study and lightweight and ended up fitting all my clothes and shoes. Love this purchase

i'm a busy person who competes in a lot of sports at my school, and naturally i have a lot of stuff. this backpack has a square zipper that looks fine whenever you see it, but as soon as you put something in it it gets huge!! this was inconvenient and annoying, not to mention the bag ripped in several placed. i don't recommend for school or anyone who needs to pack a bunch of stuff!!

Lots of compartments and large enough to carry everything they need to school with plenty of room left over.

It’s light and has a bunch of storage and pockets to keep my stuff organized.

This bag was great, until it broke twice. I had one, returned it and the second one did the same thing and broke. Very cute but disappointed. Will not last a school year.
