I purchased these earbuds back in March 2024. For the first couple of months, they worked amazingly (5/5), but three months later, the left earbud stopped working. The sound would be very low, gradually increasing to the set volume. A month later, the right earbud started doing the same, while the left earbud started working again. A week later, both earbuds stopped working. Sound still plays, but it gradually increases to the set volume and randomly goes quiet again. If you put them down for a short time, they also go quiet.

Thanks for your feedback. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue with your JBL Tune Buds. First, check the balance control. This allows you to make one side louder than the other. Be sure that the left/right balance control is set to default (centered). Check the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings and on your music player app, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings. You can also check the balance control on the JBL Headphones app. Next, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Last is reset, with both earbuds on and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. Note: RESET will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. If the issue remains, please contact us for further assistance.

Horrible item. In 4 months I've asked for THREE different replacements because the sound would become imbalanced in one earbug (basically one earbud would begin to sound lower than thw other one). This happened with every one they replaced and the original I purchased. Crazy! I got to a point where I asked the warranty department for money back in the form of a target gift card to buy another brand. They refused to do that.

Worst fitting earbuds ever

Bought these in January and from first few uses thought they were okay. The noise cancelling feature was the main reason I bought them. But no matter what way you put them in your ears they fall out, don’t provide noise cancelling because of this. I’ve never had such ill fitted earbuds and very disappointed. I thought maybe it was because I have small ears but I’ve used each size attachment of the earbud to try and neither is better than the last.

Thanks for your feedback. To achieve a secure fit, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear, then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Alternatively, you can try other ear tips from a third-party retailer that is compatible with our JBL Tune Buds and will fit your ear. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

These earbuds are horrible. I've had them less than a year and they don't work anymore. The earbuds won't take a charge. Plus they are always falling out of my ear. Do not buy.

Thank you for bringing this into our attention. That’s not the experience we want you to have with our JBL Tune Buds. TWS ear buds, charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. Please clean the contact points of your earbuds and the charging case. Also, to achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. For further assistance, feel free to contact us directly: https://support.jbl.com/us/en

It's been a few months of ownership and the main complaint I have towards these buds are the fact they slip out the ear a little to easy. They do offer the "tips" that are supposed to prevent these from happening, but the design is not meant to take a lot of movement before the earbud falls out.

I really loved these. The sound is great and they're very comfortable. The battery life was also great. My issue is that the left one suddenly no longer works. It's fully charged, but completely dead.

Died after 4 months.

We appreciate your feedback. If the earbud shows a light indicator and fully charged, try doing the reset procedure. Make sure the earbuds are not connected to any Bluetooth. Press either the left or right earbud three (3) times then hold it on the third tap for 5 seconds. Once done, put back both earbuds inside the charging case for 10 seconds while the lid is closed, and connect them again to your device. Please forget JBL Tune Buds TWS on your paired devices before pairing again as reset would default all the settings of your earbuds. Please contact us directly for further assistance.

This is not what we want you to experience with our JBL Tune Buds. Try manually pairing both earbuds by simultaneously removing it inside the charging case and connect it to your mobile device. In case this does not resolve your concern, please reach out to our customer support.

They’re okay. Good sound quality, great noise cancelling when they fit right. They’re oval shaped and never stay in my ears, regardless of what size ear tips I tried.

My bf and I have had many JBL products and they have always been great! Today I found my left earbud from my Tune Buds in my dryer 'water proof ' that earbud made it an hour in and out of water and then the dryer. It started charging like a champ and still works. I've had the buds for almost a year. And we've had many JBL products, I don't think we'd buy anything else at this point.

Don't fit cheap feeling

I bought these today thinking JBL was a quality brand.. Sadly this product is extremely poor the quality and feel of these are well behind similar products from brands like Jabra. To make matters worse they don't fit my ears, I even asked my partner to try and she couldn't get them to fit either. We have tried all the different size tips and none work. I am sure they have other products that are better but it's a pain when you can't try before you buy. I would recommend avoiding this product.

I got these as a gift. Worst design ever. They don’t stay in the ear!! If I literally smile or talk they pop out. I tried different size fittings and they don’t work . Why would jbl make a product without trying it on? Who is stupid enough to make a weird shape like this?
