The canister is stylish, But The Quality Is Poor. The Gasket Never Stays Secured, Always Slips Off. And The Lid Latch Is easily Bent. Mine Finally Broke entirely. The top of the Plastic lid separated Completely From The Base. Might Make a Decent Bucket

Metal easily bends on the clasp, the seal does not seal tight and mine came scratched with a dent on the bottom. Low quality. Guess I expected a LITTLE better. Would NEVER have considered buying this if I had been able to see it before purchase.

I needed something to put my Butter Flavor Crisco canister and silicone small spoon in! I like the easy to clean Stainless and the clear hindged cover!

Silicone gasket falls off every time the canister is opened. Disappointed!

I love the size. It did come with a small dent inside. They only issue I noticed is the seal comes off easy and it's hard to put it back on.

I own several pcs of "Oggi" canisters; acrylic, stainless & ceramic. They brand all their products on the bottom & their label wrapped on each canister, none of which came with these! In addition to no identifying marks of brand; one of them refuses to stay closed/sealed! Out of frustration I kept them before I knew one would fail me!! Would really like my $$ BACK Orrrr new replacement!

Mediocre product. The little “lip” for the clasp was peeling off upon arrival, the containers are a bit flimsy and as commented by other reviewers, the plastic gasket pops off every time you open the container which means you need both hands to adjust and close it. It wasn’t bad enough to return and will do it’s job but not a product I would buy again or recommend.

Not airtight! Ring doesn’t hold. Otherwise looks nice, could store LEGO’s? Maybe they should replace the Plastic top with steel or real glass since what people really want is more natural and clean look.

The rubber gasket isn't secured to the lid, so it tends to flop on opening and closing. Worse, the ring clasp on the closing mechanism keeps running into the rivet ends it pivots on. This means every time you open and close the darn thing, you have to adjust both the gasket and the closure to get everything lined up.

Great jumbo container for storage of flour. Agree with other reviewers that the one downfall is the rubber gasket seal - I wanted to be able to remove it for cleaning, but it often pops off when opening for regular use. The notches for securing it to the lid could stand to be a bit bigger. Would glue it down, but again, I want to be able to take it off to clean if I need to. More regular use of this may make me change my mind, however. Also thought the lid was a bit quirky as far as aligning and closing. Regardless, great, not perfect, storage bin for flour.

Great canister for flour! The large top makes scooping easier and the seal is great for keeping bugs out. I plan on buying more for other pantry items like sugars and pastas!

Stores a four pounds of coffee beans with out problem. I bought this to save $4 a pound buying from CoffeeAM in five pound bags and needed a way to store the extra four pounds after filling my regular coffee container of similar design. I haven't had it long enough to know whether it will keep the remaining coffee fresh for about six weeks, which is about the amount of time it takes us to go through 5 pounds, but I know it will be better than just rolling up the bag and clipping it closed.

Had my eye on it for some time. Finally decided.Great larger sealable canister.

It was absolutely perfect for storing a 33.3-35 ounce Folgers coffee! Love it!

I would have given it 5 stars, except the rubber gasket is loose and not attached to the lid. I had to use contact glue to fix the problem. Since the hinge is rather loose, you have to make sure the lid is aligned when closing to insure a good seal. I do like the large capacity and can easily store 2 pounds of coffee beans in it. For the price, it did not meet my expectations.

The size is ample for 5 lb's of coffee, which is good. The rubber seal is a little problematic because it falls off every time I open the container. When the seal is in place and clamped shut, it does keep the coffee fresh. The hinge is a little wobbly so you have to kinda work it til you get a good seal. The only time I use the canister is first thing in the morning, so the struggle may be more battling sleep than the container but it can get a little aggravating first thing in the morning.

I bought 2 of these canisters for flour and sugar. I am happy with the size. The gaskets seem a little flimsy but are doing ok so far. I did take them off to wash the canisters before using them. The gaskets just seem a bit loose when I put them back in. I was able to put 8 lbs of sugar and 5 lbs of flour in these and hope they will be good additions to my kitchen for years! They do look really wonderful! Very clean and simple!

This stainless steel canister replaces the same style by the same manufacturer that was totally done in acrylic...the acrylic bottom didn't last as long as hoped. The stainless bottom, I hope, is the answer. I need this size and want the sealed-type top. Like it a lot so far. Price was right, too. I ordered online and picked up at my local Target. Obviously, they cannot keep EVERY darn thing in stock at their stores...online shopping is the answer in SOME situations. I still want to shop a STORE and like Target very much.
