Q: How do I disable the snooze function? We use the alarm but it would keep sounding after tapping the alarm off.

A: Hi Caitlyn, When the alarm sounds, press the alarm button, or any button on the back, and the alarm will turn off and be ready to sound again the next day.

Q: How do I get the night light to turn on?

A: There are some small buttons that look almost like feet on the bottom of the clock. So when it's sitting on a nightstand or table and you tap on the top, it presses down and activates those buttons. If you try it sitting flat on a surface to turn the light on. Q: I set up the green wake light for the first time. I intentionally did not set the alarm, but it sounded off at 6am for my toddler! Why would it sound without being set? I need to make sure this doesn’t occur again.

A: Hi Kim, It seems like your alarm is enabled. When you tap the alarm button you'll see on the display the icon turn on/off indicating when the alarm is enabled/disabled. Q: The description specifies this is “for boys” but it’s an alarm clock! Are there any reasons for girls not to use this alarm clock??

A: Hi. There's nothing at all about the clock that makes it better for boys or girls. The Target system created that part of the description automatically and we're not sure why?

A: Hold down the Wake Up Light button till the time starts to flash. Then use the HR and MIN buttons to se the time you'd like the light to turn on. On the display make sure that the Wake Up Light icon is lit to indicate that the Wake Up Light is enabled. Tapping the Wake Up Light button will toggle the Wake Up Light between enabled and disabled, so if it's not enabled tap it till you see the icon lit. Q: Can I use this with just batteries? I don't have an outlet near where I want to use it and I only plan to use the green light.

A: Hi. The clock requires power to keep the display and night light lit. The battery is for backing up the time and alarm settings only.

Q: What sounds does this alarm make when it goes off? Are they gentle?

A: Dream Cloud has one alarm that will sound for waking up. It also has a wake up "green" light that can be set to a different time.

Q: This question may need to be directed to Target instead of the manufacturer, but why is this clock listed as Kids' Wake up Light Alarm Cloud Clock White... "for Boys?" Why?

A: Hi Elizabeth, I'm the designer of the Dream Cloud clock I don't know why it's listed as "for boys" on the Target site, (it could be because there's a limitation on how long the listing can be and it may have been cut off from "for boys and girls". I designed Dream Cloud along side my then 7 year old daughter and can tell you there's nothing intentionally gender oriented about it!

It's cute little clock but it's not enough buttons for all the functions which makes it very difficult and frustrating to set. You also can't turn off snooze, so it just keeps going off for a while after you turn the alarm off.

I bought one of these and the nightlight would not turn on. Exchanged it for another and after about a month it stopped telling time properly. I would reset the time and it would just start displaying another random time within an hour or so. Also the nightlight is pretty bright and harsh, not a nice color / intensity for restful sleep.

Settings are very irritating to adjust. If you never have to adjust the times, I guess it would be fine. Half the time when I press the minute button, the hour adjusts, and vice versa.

Exactly what I needed. Light turns on for young child when it’s ok for him to get up. It’s summertime, and so my youngest (age 4) decides to get up earlier than he did during school, of course. I explained to him how this works and he was happy to wait until it turned green in order to get out of bed.

Cute and it works but we are a little over a year after purchase and it’s become so sensitive the night light turns on and off with the slightest touch. :(

Not the greatest. You are supposed to "tap" the top of the cloud to turn on/off the Night light, and to snooze alarm. The "tap" option does not work at all. So we cannot use the nightlight setting, nor the snooze option. For $20 for a kids alarm that literally fits in the palm of your hand, everything should work. I should have known better by the reviews.

Hi. To activate the nightlight and to snooze, please have sit the clock down on nightstand, dresser or other flat surface. Then press down anywhere on the top and you'll feel a "click". If you're still having any issues with that please contact support@hellocapello.com and we can help you out.

It was always finicky about cord position and worked for a year or so before going kaput. Not sure why it can’t just operate on the back up batteries I put in it, but It’s def a problem with the cord connection. I almost bought a replacement cord so many times but truly not worth the investment. My son and husband are completely incapable of operating the dang thing, since the buttons are on the back and you can’t see what you’re pushing in the dark to set or turn off the alarm. But overall it was fine for pre-k & the 1st half of kindergarten, did its job letting our son know when he could get out of bed.

Worked well for like two weeks and then fritzed out and I couldn’t get the time to set or the wake up time. It would quickly cycle through the nightlight function on a loop and none of the buttons would work. I should have listened to the other reviews.

This lamp has worked well for us. I can turn the white light on indefinitely, or choose a time limit for it to shut back off again. The numbers are large enough so my older child can see what time it is, and I can set it so the green light turns on to alert my younger child when it's time to get out of bed. I don't need the alarm, so I can't speak to that. I set it up high so I don't have to worry about the kids messing with it, and it's been great for us.

Boyfriend got this for me as a Christmas present because we wake up early for votec school and I struggle. I’m 17 so this wasn’t really ready for the brunt force of an angry half asleep teenager. To turn off alarm you have to hold hand over top for a few seconds. In my sleep drunken stupor, I reached out and slammed it to hush. Hush it did, but not for long where it went off again causing my annoyance to worsen, slamming it into the table once more. Past few days I have noticed the light in the screen fading away, still does the scheduled light and alarm so that’s cool. Thought I was crazy when I fully woke up and it was green one day, but a pretty cool feature!

Super cute light. Easy to set up. I use this on my nightstand. There are three brightness levels for the white light. There are different timer settings too (on, 15 min, 30 min). Super easy to read in the dark. Can set a wake up alarm that beeps (found this sound to be super annoying) or it turns into a green light. Not battery operated and must be plugged into a wall. Must be on a hard surface because it turns off/on but pressing the top but there are actually two small buttons on the bottom so when you press the force pushes those buttons which really turn it on and off. For the price it’s great!
