Q: Can the battery be charged at 220v-230v 50Hz outlets abroad?
A: Hi S, Appliances built for the U.S. market should only be used in the United States. The 120 volt (U.S.) appliances are not compatible with 220/240 volt requirements of other countries

Q: I know you have to press the unlock button before powering on, but do you have to continue holding down the unlock button as well as the power button the whole time you use it?
A: Hi vne, Both the lock and variable speed buttons must be pressed down when using.
