Truthfully, this was a huge disappointment. The top screw fell out of the handle within seconds of taking it out of the box, and it was not able to be re-screwed in. It was like the whole was too big for the screw. I used it once even with the problem with the screw, it it just continued to fall apart. The turning mechanism was uneven and just got worse with each turn. I retuned and bought a different model..

I purchased this in store. The first one was in pieces when I took it out of the box, the handle and the top that were made of plastic were shattered into shards. I returned it and exchanged for a new one, but the second one was in pieces too. Not sure what happened, but definitely doesn't seem durable.

This waffle maker is easy to use and makes perfect waffles. This is my first waffle maker and I just made some delicious ube waffles. You just plug it in until the green light comes on. You oil it (I just used a spray), fill it with the batter, flip it to the right, and the green light turns off. When the green light turns on again, they are done. You flip it over the other way and open it. I had no issue with it sticking and actually took the waffle out (carefully) with my fingers. It was so easy and quick. It’s an inexpensive waffle maker that works well.

This thing works surprisingly well, especially considering its low price. I thought I should've gotten something with adjustable temperature but this thing gets plenty hot and makes well done waffles in a couple of minutes. Sometimes they stick and the lid won't open but then I just let it cook a minute longer and then the lid will open. Occasionally I might have to use the fork to release it from the griddle. Look up the "best waffles ever" recipe on King Arthur flour website. That's what we use and couldn't be happier with the results. We're in waffle heaven. We've had the maker for a few months now.
