This in-shower treatment is formulated to instantly boost vibrancy
and shine, and adds depth to color treated or naturally dark brown

HOW TO:
(Read all instructions thoroughly before glossing your hair)
1. wet your hair thoroughly in the shower.
2. mix bottle 1 and 2 together, shake gently and apply all over.
3. wait 10-20 minutes, depending on the result you want, then rinse thoroughly.
4. shampoo and condition as usual.

Q: Is this just one time use? I know you have to combine the two bottles on the spot but it seems like a lot of product for just one time

A: Hello! Thank you for your question! Yes it is one time use, you cannot save unused Kristin Ess Hair Signature Glosses in the bottle for later use. Once the gloss is mixed, you should use it within an hour because the active ingredients are no longer effective. However, you don't have to use the entire bottle of Kristin Ess Signature Hair Gloss, and the amount you need depends on the length and thickness of your hair. If you have long hair or thicker hair, you'll probably need to use the whole bottle. If you have shorter hair or finer hair you might not need to use the entire bottle to saturate your hair with the gloss, and can dispose of the unused portion. Hope this helps!

Amazing!! Never discontinue! One use gets rid of brass in my dark brunette balayage and lasts a long time. It’s the only product that does this without prolonged, repeated application. I’ve never had luck with toning shampoos/conditioners or other at-home toning and only see minimal to no results with those products, even if used frequently. To my knowledge, “Bittersweet” is this line’s only toner/gloss for black/brown hair that’s made to remove brass. I would love Kristen Ess to come out with another toner option that removes brass, but is lighter brown. Bittersweet removes brass but the color left behind is semi-permanent and I would like to get a lighter balayage that I can maintain at home, but this darkens my lighter pieces a lot so it might make a lighter balayage too dark

This helped improve the condition of my hair. It is a nice deep color over my dark brown ( with gray) hair . It even colored my gray which made me happy. So far I am about two weeks into this, and the color has barely faded. I hope this never gets discontinued!!

I love this gloss so much! Easy application (especially for someone like me who doesn't care to use a dye brush or anything like that. It's not that deep.) This brand and shade is the only one I've tried in five years that *actually* warms up my almost-black cool-toned hair. I guess there was a supply issue where this was out of stock for a while, so I tried to find a different brand that I liked. Both my hair and wallet hatedddd me for that. SO glad to see this back in stock.

Love this gloss! I use it to cover up a pretty bright balayage and it worked well, i'm not sure how well it fades but you can always just go over it again. I will say the color on the box isn't very accurate and it depends on your current hair color so do research and find photos of people with similar hair color! I let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and my hair is so shiny and soft.

Life saver! I dyed my grown out honey blonde highlights hair with Sally’s dark brown permanent because I just wanted less maintenance. I guess my roots over developed and they were s reddish brown and the rest of my hair was DARK. I used this gloss to help cancel the light roots. I was not disappointed! My roots are dark and look natural, shiny and soft. I wish I started with this gloss first instead of the Sally’s stuff

I don't normally leave reviews but i had to for this one. I got this in the shade wild berry expecting a really pretty dark red but it turned the top of my hair RED and the rest copper. I did everything the instructions said and it looks super uneven. It didn't make my hair glossy but made it dry. I have brown hair pretty much the same color as the one in the before picture. I have dyed my hair before and have never had any issues.

It's a two part system you mix leave in for however long and end with beautiful hair that looks nearly salon quality. I grew up with a hair stylist and honestly this wasn't any different than the pro stuff I get at Sally's with everything you need. Gloves are included and the results are a rich beautiful multidimensional hair color.

Dried out my hair and stained my pillow even after washing out the dye twice. Results are not very noticeable and washed out very quickly. Not worth the money.
