However, the dye isn't as potent as my mom would have liked. It does give the shimmer described, but her gray hairs staged pretty gray. I would like to see how the other colors do as the scent wasn't as overwhelming as other box dyes.

I usually go to Sally's but I haven't used box dye in ages so I was like wth might as well try, it is hair so worse case I can re dye it, my bf picked the color out and I love it, the roots came out more pinky red but I am sure it wil fade, and the bottom is a choc cherry just as described, for a box dye not bad! I may use it again

I bought this hair color it’s been the worse experience ever! It didn’t cover any of my grays the color on the box was nothing like the results I was expecting. I will never buy this brand anymore I have used it many times and this time I was satisfied.

The color came out so pretty my hair felt so healthy afterward I love that it was only three solutions to mix together. It was super easy to apply and the color was true to what was on the box.

Absolutely awful experience with this hair dye kit. The dye smelled terrible, also Irritated my scalp which usually doesn't happen to me with hair dye. Color was nothing like the picture which isn't so bad since I have previously dyed hair so I knew it wouldn't be close. The conditioner in this kit smelled good but didn't completely rinse off my hair causing it to leave a sticky weird residue. Hair felt damaged after as well. Wouldn't recommend

It’s easy to apply, has plenty of shade options, and as long as you aren’t sensitive to the smell of strong chemicals the smell doesn’t bother me. I make sure I am in well ventilated area and have some air flow going if inside. Definitely can be a mess if spilled or dropped so HIGHLY recommend wearing old clothes and making sure you cover floors or counters if accident prone!

I haven't had the chance to use it (I'm going to dye my mom's hair because she has brownish hair already) but it is so pretty I've been thinking about actually using it on mine but my hair is bright blonde with super dark brown roots so I'm not sure how it would turn out. I love the packaging of this, all in one box, and easy to use. I love that it comes with a deep moisturizing conditioner so your hair doesn't feel damaged after dying it. 10/10 recommend!

The smell it's also not bad and you get a pretty similar shade after applying it. I recommend their products for any hair types.

The reason I gave this dye 4 instead of 5 stars is only because the shade came out lighter than I anticipated, almost blonde. Overall, I am happy with this dye but I would get a darker shade next time.

For some reason, my roots dyed significantly lighter than the rest of my hair, even though I followed them instructions thoroughly. In the past I have used Garnier hair dye and I don't see myself switching to this one.

Finally gave me the grey color I’d been trying to get for so long but caused sooo much damage and breakage. I’d tried so hard to keep my hair healthy post bleach and right before using this product I was telling a friend how healthy my hair was. Now I need to chop it because it’s so bad.

It is not intended for grey coverage, but I think is the first one I’ve seen that targets lighting dark hair. I have a lot of hair, but I have it short so I thought one box was going to be enough, but I was wrong hahaha. I have very dark brown hair, and it lightened it like 3 shades. It’s a little bit blotchy, but again, that was my mistake. The conditioner it comes with is very good, my hair felt soft after applying it and the tube lasts at least 2 or 3 more applications. I would like it to come with something to tone but, for the price, I think it’s a good product.
