I really wanted to like this sunscreen but it just didn’t work for me. I have dry skin and applied this sunscreen every 2 hours for 3 days. It irritated my eyes and it left my skin looking and feeling greasy.

I use different products of this brand and always have been satisfied so I decided to try their sunscreen, I’ve had this for a while but never really gave it a real chance because I didn’t like the texture and I would use it every now and then so I decided to give it a shot on my vacation to Mexico last week. EPIC FAILURE!!! Not only it did not protect my face (I don’t tan my face in years btw) but it created a pigment mark under my eyes which I’ve never ever in my life have had this problem and my nose started peeling.

My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen. Rosacea has caused my skin to be very reactive and all the previous sunscreens caused burning. Not this one. It abaorbs quickly and sits nicely under my makeup . Please don’t change. I’ll be a customer for life!

i want to like this sunscreen so much but it’s so tacky. it makes my skin so sticky. i like that there’s little to no sunscreen-y scent and that it’s moisturizing but i don’t think it absorbs very well into my skin. it makes me look like my face is greasy. i really like the anthelios ultra light sunscreen but i tried this one due to it being more moisturizing because i use tretinoin at night. i’m going to finish the bottle because of the price but i won’t be repurchasing unfortunately.

I’ve been using anthelios antioxidant serum spf 50 for several years now. I saw this new product at a chain store and decided to try it because of the extra moisturizer. I’m 51, on the oily side but also experiencing minor aging signs. I’ve been looking for a quality multi-purpose product with higher spf but not heavy. This has been great by itself or combined with makeup such as tinted moisturizer. I plan on purchasing again.

Bought this product to replace the Hydraphase UV intense SPF 15 that La Roche decided to discontinue. This product is terrible. After the product sets in it starts to pill and then peel off your face in clumps. I've tried using it several ways: wash face, moisturize before, no moisturizing before. Nothing works. As a replacement for one of their best products, this is horrible for La Roche Posay. May switch to NeoStrata now

In using this sunscreen I also applied beforehand the la Roche posay double repair face moisturizer with toleriane and was very disappointed that the products didn't work well together as the moisturizer was balling or pilling up on my skin so I had little blobs of product showing on my face. I would think these two products should work well together since made by same company. Very disappointed.

At times, if this very hydrating moisturizer is layered under or over another hydrating skincare product that has not fully absorbed into skin, it can cause the moisturizer to ball up or “pill”. To help avoid this, we recommend allowing the first product you apply in your skincare routine to fully dry and absorb into skin until it feels dry to the touch before layering on the next product.
