A: Hi Cookingmama! The 26.2 Qt. Heavy Duty Storage Bin is made of food safe grade polypropylene plastic. This material has been approved by the FDA as food safe. It is the same material used to produce all of our food storage items. To ensure we offer only quality and safe products, no PVCs, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bisphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals are used in our manufacturing process. Sterilite does not use any harmful materials in the production of our products.

WHY IS TARGET FORGETTING THE LIDS ON ALL OF THESE COOL STORAGE BINS??? IF THEY ARE BENT YOU CANT STACK -- BUT YOU COULD IF YOU HAD A LID. PLEASEEEE START MAKING LIDS FOR THESE ITEMS. I LOVE THEM BUT CANNOT USE THEM WITHOUT LIDS...
