Multi use and really solid construction. Good for younger ages who are sorting and learning to classify. Useful in Gr. 4-6 for probability work.

Easy to handle sorting pieces in shapes that stay on the table without rolling off (important for little fingers) make this kit teacher friendly. Children love sorting the various small items by color and by shape. I used the various types of items to match up with units of study in my pre-K classroom. Farm animal sorters were perfect during our farm study unit while the vehicles worked well during the transportation unit and the fruit sorters were a nice extension to the healthy foods unit. Our ECERS evaluator appreciated the fact that math materials were rotated out to match units of study.
