My 4 year old daughter was very excited when she received this game. The pieces are well made, colourful and fun. She loves sorting!! So after a few rounds of sorting the aliens into colour, shape and legs we were ready to play. There are quite a few different games you can play; we started with the simple colour roll and collect. The ship has built in dices at the top which is great as they will never get lost or rolled under the sofa!! The bottom of the ship has removable coloured segments as part of the games. There is also tweezer like tools to pick the aliens up which is great for fine motor skills. All of the pieces fit into the spaceship, the top then clips on and can then be stored without everything falling out. Both of my daughters also enjoy using the little aliens in other games they are playing too, they are quite cute.
Absolutely one of the best sorting games I have found!

The Oodles of Aliens Sorting Saucer is fantastic for colour recognition, fine motor skills and pattern recognition.. The set is a sturdy plastic flying saucer, which, when you lift up the lid, contains 6 coloured trays in which to sort the funny looking aliens in. There is so many different ways you can play this game, using a variety of different skills to suit different age ranges. 'Find me all the alien's that have antenna'.. 'Find me all the red alien's.. ' 'You have one minute to sort the aliens into the right colour trays... go!.. ' The set comes with two Tri-grip tongs, to help with fine motor skills and a fun popping colour and number dice top that fits into the top of the saucer for more different game play! My 4 year old hasn't stopped playing with this.. and is definitely one of the best learning games I have found!.. If your thinking about getting this.. do it.. it's brilliant!

Love this game! It's really simple but my girls really enjoy playing with it. You can use the different game suggestions that come with the instructions or improvise and make your own rules depending on the age/ability of the child you're playing it with. My 5 year old got right to grips with sorting and "trying to get all the aliens home" we had a little race to see who could get them in quickest! My 2 year old enjoyed using the pincer with support to sort the aliens into the right colours in the saucer. This game appears really hard wearing so I'm hoping we'll be able to keep it until my youngest is old enough to play it with her sister. The characters are cute and sturdy looking, and the spaceship fits away nicely with the characters inside and dice on top. Nothing I didn't like about it!
