Only worked for a short period of time. Does not accept deposits which will not allow it to calculate balances. Kinda pointless now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls were really excited to play with the ATM and they enjoyed it. However the drawer kept jamming with money and coins have fallen behind the drawer which we can't get to. I do have to say it has withheld the drops on the floor and hits to unjam things. My littles enjoys making deposits and taking the money out, as well as hitting the buttons. This was a review incentive program gift and I do think it is nice and the kids enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this to my 5 year old niece. She loved playing with it. She pretended it was a cash register, she didn't know what an ATM is. The one downside is that when you "deposit" the dollars it doesn't add it to your total like it does for the coins.

I received the product for free as part of an incentivized review program and the children at my center loved it! Everyone wanted to use the ATM machine and were learning new vocabulary while using the product. The product came in a nice package that was easy to dissemble from the sturdy box. The toy was well made and the kids loved how they got to feed the money through the ATM machine by turning the dial on the side, which was a challenge for some three year olds. But once they were shown how to use the ATM machine they loved it even more. I even enjoyed feeding the money through and playing with the buttons on the ATM machine. The ATM machine is a great toy to introduce technology besides the cash register to a school or even in your home. Children love to mimic what mom and dad does what better way then to have a toy that they see their mom or dad use often and is educational.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (I received this product as part of an incentivized program) The packaging was easy to open and batteries are easy to put in. I was really excited about this toy. We have been working on money management and setting her up with give/save/spend jars. We thought this toy would help with that endeavor but ended up being more work to use it as an actual bank than I wanted. As a toy it's a lot of fun. Especially as a parent of a child who love to play cashier. She enjoyed sticking the coin and bills in. The coins are recognized by their size and add automatically, the bills you set in and turn a knob to feed into the register (not recognized by the toy and amount must be manually added). This step of having to manually add any bills was beyond the capabilities of my 5 year old. Their are a series of button that have to be pushed in a certain order to add it to your account. Maybe in a year or so she would be able to handle it. Right now she couldn't get the order down correctly. The debit card does nothing real. It's all a pretend withdrawal and/or deposit that require another series of button pushes to be done. As a toy: I recommend, though it wasn't mind blowing. As a real bank: I wouldn't recommend, I'd stick with a good ol' piggy bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 y/o son really likes the cash register. He has been interested in coins and bills. This is nice to teach him about money. Lots of fun playing with money, counting, and identifying coins. This a nice sturdy toy and don't need to worry about breaking down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old always wants to play with the credit card swipe at the grocery store and my credit cards. He also loves playing with real money. As soon as I saw this, I knew it was the perfect toy for him. He plays with it for long stretches and like the fact that he can play with it independently or we can play with it together. This is a well made, high quality toy, and I really appreciate that the noises it makes are not at all obnoxious. The play money and ATM card are also great quality. This is a toy that I know my son can play with for years to come and it has such relevant educational value since it teaches kids about math in the real world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this play ATM for a week and my kids have been dying to play with it. I did not open it right away because I did not have any AA batteries, but eventually I had to because the kids kept asking to play with it. The first couple of days my kids have been playing with it without batteries. They love the play paper money, coins, and ATM card that come with the unit. Slipping the cash in and turning the knob, putting the coins in the slot, and getting the ATM card in it's slot are all great for the developing and helping work those fine motor skills! Then we finally got batteries and it was a whole new toy!!! They love the counting and adding of each coin and bill. My youngest (4) loves hearing the machine announce what type of coin is going in the machine. This toy is great for my 8 year old (reinforces what she is learning in school about money, coins) all the way down to my 4 year old (works those fine motor skills and coin recognition). I feel like this toy will grow with my youngest so parents will get a bang for their buck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is using this as a savings bank, since it works with real bills and coins. She really likes pressing the buttons and entering her "pin" number, which we were able to customize just for her. The included ATM card is a nice addition, and it helps her roleplay and imagine that she's taking money out to go shopping. This is a great toy.

My kids, ages 10 and 6, spend hours playing with this! It was easy to get out of the package and my kids were able to start playing with it right away, the directions to get started were clear and easy for them to understand. They are learning how "money in the bank" works. They have also been using it to play store. I like how the machine counts the coins, it would be nice if it counted bills too, but that it doesn't helps my kids work on their adding skills so it's a win either way! My older daughter, works on adding and subtracting, while my younger son is really mastering the value of coins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new engaging toy is a great way for children to learn how to count money. This toy is also cutting edge just like the real ATM machines. This ATM does come with its own bills and coins. I found that the ATM caught my attention when the machine started saying each coin individually and listed their value on the screen. This is a great hands-on learning toy and will help children with teaching/counting/ addition/subtraction. A fun educational toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this ATM machine & money to be highly engaging right from the get-go for my grandsons ages 6 and 4. To be able to use some of the features, it does require that an adult or older child read the directions for the younger ones to get them started (i.e. explaining a PIN and how to enter the default or set your own; how to enter the ATM card, etc). The bills and coins that come with the ATM machine are very realistic - I even got fooled once when I saw a bill on my kitchen counter; had to look twice to determine whether it was real or not. This ATM machine is one that can grow with the child. It can just be a fun experience for the younger child just putting the money in and out, inserting the ATM card, hearing the coins register, etc. As the child matures, though, a lot of authentic math can be completed with counting the money and making "purchases". As mentioned in other reviews, the ATM machine only tracks the coins; bills must be computed by hand - which is where the real math comes in. I would recommend this ATM for use in a home or school setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This red and blue ATM is popular in our house. Our 2 year old loves putting the coins in the coin slot over and over again. Our 2nd grader likes to add the money and hear it speak the new total, and our other 2 boys in the middle play with it as well. The coins and bills are quite life-like. The bills are paper, so may rip in the near future, but haven't yet. And unfortunately when you insert them into the bill slot, they don't get counted automatically like the coin slot does. There is a debit card that goes with it, but if you loose the card, it still allows you to play with it, which we are grateful for! Our boys also use this as a cash register and have been playing store quite a bit lately. This ATM is a fun and interactive toy that will get used a lot more in the future! I received this product as part of an incentive review program.

    Counts REAL change!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6-year old nephew LOVES this and it's allowed my family to discuss important topics like saving money, who's on money, and how to keep track of pin numbers! (He keeps forgetting his) Plus the ATM can count REAL change! So we've started giving him a small allowance, which he dutifully puts into his ATM. However the biggest downfall by far is that the machine can't count bills, so my nephew keep putting in that he has hundreds of dollars (which is actually super funny). Additionally, he likes to use it as a cash register to buy things, but I'm not complaining since he's counting out the money! Overall it works well for introducing kids to the concept of money and it works well as a bank. I really like how it combines saving money with counting it out yourself.
