My daughter received this Dots set for Christmas and was excited to build the cactus box on the package. Except our directions were missing from the box for that build. Not sure what happened, but I found the directions online and problem solved. But we were very surprised by the missing directions - we have dozens of Lego sets and never had that problem with a new set before.

At first he was very excited by the packaging and pictures but it went downhill once we opened it. I think the parts are just too small to make it really interesting and hold the child’s attention.

It's very colourful and much bigger than her 1st set so it's already win win. She created few different set ups and she can make many more . It's really easy to use and good wind down time .

There was enough little dots and accessories for each of them to make with some spare too. The box is quite small and deceiving but there are lots of parts. A bit different to the usual Lego play as it’s mixing Lego with crafts . I will definitely be buying more from the range . Little parts not suitable for very young children.

She hasn’t touched her tablet which was an amazing thing. We spent a lovely family time playing dots . She’s already asked for some of the other sets and I will gladly buy them for her . It’s so lovely to see your children using their imagination through playing. I used to love playing with Lego as a child and to be honest I still do .

The little box it comes in is super helpful too as she can arrange the little pieces in how she likes and how is easy to find which pieces she’d like. The colours are super cute too - very summery and bright! She wears the little bracelet every day and switches which pattern she has on it - so it’s very versatile and always fun!

Or should I say until they lost interest. They had a whale of a time playing together with it. My kids are 7 and 5 and it was just right for them.

The pieces are very small and if you get one piece in the wrong place you have to take a few out to get it together properly! I would say the age group for this is defiantly for children way over 6!
