It didn’t look sturdy and some area are not fully covered by flat pieces which made this look incomplete. Also, i love to play with other figures to create stories. With this, it’s almost impossible. No figures can access to the cafe inside. Overall, not for me.

Like reviewers I was surprised by the lack of depth of the overall build. The narrow cafe meant all the detail inside was lost like the till etc. It is pretty though. It was straightforward to build though I had to order two missing pieces which delayed construction.

I purchased this for myself yesterday so me and my fiancé could build sets together I didn't realise at the time that this was the first in the restaurants of the world collection The build experience was very enjoyable and fairly simple although a little fiddly in places. Very happy and can't wait to see which is next in this collection

I liked building this. It was relaxing. The pieces came together easily. I liked how some pieces put together. For example the arch. The black pieces were hard to put together. Cuz a lot of them looked alike. But I made it. I didn’t mind the size. The colors were pretty. It didn’t break the bank. It was a nice relaxing set

I enjoyed this design, however the instruction manual was printed incorrectly - it dropped pages 110-125 - jumping from step 138 to 162. Later it then repeated steps 162-192. I was able to use the Lego Builder app to complete those missing steps. The app was nice, however I wish it had the steps numbered so you could jump to where you needed to be. One thing I did like was the 3D rotation that you could see certain sections to ensure you were assembling the set correctly. I also found the colors to be bit truer. Sometimes in the printed manuals light gray/dark gray/black can be difficult to differentiate along with clear/white.

Bought this set while I was waiting for my Trevi Fountain to arrive in the mail and it was a very fun placeholder! This set was much more fun to build than I had anticipated, and as a collector of Lego I like that it's a bit on the smaller side so that it can easily go on a shelf without taking up too much room. Don't really understand the negative reviews on this, what you see is what you get!

Upon reviewing this set prior to its release, I was filled with enthusiasm. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment once I began the assembly process. The aesthetically pleasing doors on the front, which initially appeared captivating, unfortunately lead to nowhere. Additionally, the set lacks a back for the café, diminishing its overall appeal. Based on my experience, I would advise against purchasing this set.

I was so excited for this set but it was a bit of a let down. Based on the pictures I thought it was going to be a nice shelf decoration but it was so much smaller and bland than I expected. Not a good value in my opinion.

This cafe doesn't look like a French cafe and while the build experience was decent, the overall value was poor. I'm happy to see no stickers, but the color scheme, the back of the cafe, and the look of the cafe after opening those beautiful front doors is disappointing. The biggest complaint is the color and design. I can forgive the design for not being mini-fig compatible but the sum total of the build is underwhelming and overpriced

Sorry but I was really disappointed with this set I was I admit really pleased it was released but it's quite small and it doesn't even have any mini figures with it. I have already bought the Tudor cottage, Jazz club and other modular builds, they will get 10 out of 10 but unfortunately not this one.

When it first got announced, I was honestly stoked about this set. A lot of people didn’t really like it cause there’s no backside (which I can understand) but the set is still wonderful on its own. I absolutely love the color scheme and the details put into it! I also love how it used interesting building techniques that give it extra detail like the sidewalk and the arch. This is by far my favorite set and I can’t wait for the next ones in this series!!
