I love this build due to its complexity and the use of rope in the build and how the actual machine is stablised by the end. THE BASE is not stable and breaks with some minor shakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure why this was labeled 18+ at first, but I understand now. Let me just say it's a beautiful set. Very intricate. You need to be precise. You need to be firm but gentle. My 11yo helped, but he needed us there with him. It took 2 adults and one child 2 hours to complete. We messed up a part and had to go back, which was so challenging to fix. But the final result with the moving mechanism is immense. It's notlw in a hugh shelf away from the cats and the 11yo. I'm afraid to let anyone near it, lol.

This set blew me away with the creative techniques used to create the motion effect. It was tricky at times to get the pieces in place, but the end result is absolutely worth it.

I would have loved to have gotten this item I ordered but after sitting at the curbside pickup for nearly 30 minutes I was told they couldn't find my order and were going to go look for one. I couldn't wait any longer and never had anyone come back so I left and the order was cancelled. I will really think hard before I order anything again since there are other options.

I enjoyed every step of this creation. The instruction booklet is very clear and has interesting facts and info about Da Vinci throughout the pages. Careful of steps 155-157, easy fix just take out one link and then it all fits together in the end!

I really enjoyed putting this set together! It was a very quick build (1.5 hr), but really fun. The detail is great, & it will reside right next to the Amelia Earhart Tribute set (another enjoyable build). Look forward to any other possible sets of this ilk in the future.

One of the best sets I have built, with some very interesting solutions to the wings and the structure itself. Absolutely worth the money in my view. Also, first time I used the Builder app and that was a game changer. Kudos to Lego for putting that out there and including the 3D instructions.
