I think the feemster slicer has been in use in my kitchen 50 years! Paid $1. 00 for it when it first was marketed. So many family and guests have sought to purchase after witnessing it's wonder at so many meal preparations through the years. I should have had stock in the company. Just bought a new one, should have done it a long time ago. This new one is well done! Great grand children are already in line to see who will be the luckiest heir. Told them they can buy a new one from Lehman's.

Honestly, I haven't yet had a moment to give this little tool a try, but I have Always wanted one of these gizmos. . . . . I will be Very Careful for sure, but I suspect this will become a favorite.

The only reason I am not giving it a great rating is because I cannot change the size of the cut very easily. Very tight. Perhaps a man would not have a problem but this senior citizen does. I have even soaked it in 3 in 1 Oil to try to move it up and down with ease for different size cuts. BUT I HAVE GOT IT INTO ONE POSITION ALL OF THE TIME AND IT IS OK FOR ME. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE IT CAN COME IN HANDY.

Love the smaller size, but I had to sharpen the blade as it was not cutting a cucumber without shredding the back side. Much more convenient than my previous mandolin and SO MUCH easier to clean!

This little thing is fabulous! I’ve used it to cut cucumbers for pickles , potatoes , onions , etc. I love that the holder is small and you can cut down to a last slice off the holder. I like it much better than my fancy mandoline.
