A: Yes, if there is no water in the tank, the humidifier will not turn on and the power button will blink to indicate the tank needs to be refilled.

Loved the dual function of humidifier and diffuser. However, this machine leaks ENTIRE PUDDLES of water. I followed all troubleshoot steps and it continued leaking. It wasn’t even clear where the leak was coming from and it was far more excessive than simply built up condensation. It could have easily ruined the wood on my nightstand. Do not recommend. This is poorly built. And so expensive for something so flawed.

I researched a lot of humidifiers and I am very happy with this one. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and very quiet. I love the nighttime setting so all the lights go off while you sleep. I have been using it over a year with no problems. I am going to purchase a second one.

Stops working after not using for that long

I got this for my baby boys nursery. We only use it at night and it has already stopped working. It turns on, acts like it wants to start working then shuts off. I have cleaned it out and wiped it down like I would any other normal humidifier or oil diffuser. I am so disapointed in this product. Wouldn't buy again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Would you be able to try carefully dumping out any water from the base (not the tank, just the base)? Please set the base on a hard, flat, level surface and plug it in. Then place the tank back on the base, and turn it on. This will ensure the base is not too full, which could prevent the humidifier from misting. If the issue persists, please reach out to us directly. So far, so good. Generates more mist than I can use for most situations, which is a good thing. Have not used the automatic humidification feature yet. I empty/refill the unit with fresh distilled water every night so the unit dries out thoroughly between uses. So, no cleaning has been required yet. But, with the top-fill design, it looks like cleaning will be easy when needed.

I bought two and love them! Most important is how easy it is to clean, no filters or tiny parts to scrub. I like the ability to adjust the power and to use sleep mode and essential oils can be added to the bottom chamber before filling the top. One fill tank lasts a long time.

I have had this humidifier for three months. It does what it is supposed to do. However, it leaks! Every morning there is some water under the unit (which I have had to place on a rimmed plate to keep it from ruining the dresser it sits on). Not a lot of water, no more than a tablespoon, but still a problem. I have checked the manual and the troubleshooting suggestions for this, but no success in solving the problem. Another comment...I have not had any mold problem so far, but it is high maintenance--every day emptying and wiping it down.

This product comes with a base, tank, and lid; instructions (both a longer manual and a very helpful quick start guide); and its own sponge for cleaning. If you follow the instructions properly (pour out old water before next use and clean humidifier at least once a week), you’ll be good to go. I fill it up and turn on the nighttime setting before I go to bed, and it runs for exactly 12 hours which is awesome! It’s very quiet, simple to use, and has a pretty look. Exactly what I wanted.

this humidifier is SO EASY TO USE. No tanks to fill in a bathroom sink that is too small!!! Top pour is perfect. I keep a gallon jug of distilled water nearby. Full, it will run for 2 nights on low and it really sends the moisture out into a large bedroom. no dribbles, nothing gets damp. Just so much easier to breathe.

They told me to donate it or throw it out and now you're telling me that I have to go and find a post office printed label which I don't have a printer. Someone please fix the situation I'm over it

This thing wets the air up pleasantly, moistly. Fixed the electrostatic shock issue that has been plaguing my apartment. I would recommend purchasing this item if you are suffering from dry and electrified air. I am a medical doctor, physicst, and climate scientist. Gray is actually spelled "grey" in my country.

The fan stopped blowing less that 1 year after purchasing and can't be cleaned due to the design. It's somewhat difficult to clean the rest of the unit.

We've been using this humidifier for a week. We cleaned it carefully following the instructions in the manual. When we put it back together, pressed the button, the power button blinks but it won't go on. Then the light stops blinking. In the manual there is nothing in the troubleshooting guide to solve the problem. We've followed the manual, taking water out, putting it back in, making sure that nothing is set up wrong--nothing. Even if we solve the problem, this humidifier is far too expensive to be so delicate. I've never owned one that was so fussy. We will be returning it.

I didn’t realize this until after I bought it but you aren’t supposed to set it directly on carpet. But it looks good enough to put on my nightstand. It’s not totally quiet, I can hear a water dripping noise but it’s OK for me.
