Good Kayak if the seat back would work.

Ok, seat adjustments don’t work. I tried to adjust them while on the water and the strap part connecting to the snap that attaches to the boat keeps coming off and again now when I lean against the back, I am only 175lbs. Had it only for a month, second time out on the water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these kayaks and have used them with my family and friends. They're very solid on the water, no tipping. The solid seat backs are great.
Good beginner kayak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've spent thousands of hours kayaking and have been using sit in kayaks for many years. Went to buy two others just for my sons, but none were locally available. My local Sam's club had 3 of these Triton 100 sit-ons on sale for $188, so picked up one to just try out. After using on the water a few times, my sons were very happy with it, and so was I. I immediately went to Sam's and purchased the other 2. These are very sturdy, and made out of rigid plastic. and not at all flexible like the super thin others I had. It weighs a few pounds more, but makes up for it with its durability. This thing truly is built for a "lifetime" of use and handles swift currents, bends, and obstacles verly easily - whether going around or smacking right into them. My only concern is that the paddle blades are very flimsy/flexible - okay for leisurely paddling in calm flat water, but not good for quick travel, or against current, and provide little help in deflection from obstacles, or pushing off from shore. The shafts are great, and the blades do still work, they are just very inefficient. I highly recommend upgrading to new paddle blades or new paddles altogether. I have Lifetime's Lite Elite paddles, and Pelican's Poseidon paddles - These two are very good alternatives. So, even with the cost of replacing the paddle blades, or new paddles, this kayak is still worth every penny. Oh, BTW, take care not to lose the gray clip that secures the seat to the floor bracket. The seat back is still usable without it, and will take a lot of force for the seat to pop out, but it does offer a bit of secutiy. I've added a photo of what can be done to keep from losing it. Use one of the tiny zip ties just above the connector eyelets, and snug it close - then, losen the lower screw on the bracket, take some fishing line (I used 35lb braided) tie off on one leg, then wrap the other end about 4 times around the base screw head, and then tighten down the screw. It will now take a good bit more effort for the clip to pop off and, even if it does, it will be held securely to the kayak.

I bought this kayak recently and took it to New River in VA, some class 1 Rapids. A few times I thought I was going to be in the river, but the kayak was very stable and no mishaps. Very pleased with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this product but I tore the seat with my knee when I tried to "remount" after falling off. Admittedly, I am a big guy (over 270 lbs.) so I felt at fault for the damage. When I called customer support to purchase a replacement, they listened to my story and replaced the part for free! Extremely pleased with this product and it's company's support. I would recommend them to anyone.

I purchased two kayaks from lifetime during the pandemic. This year when fiddling with the seat strap I dropped, in the lake!, a part of the hook. They have sent me a replacement and extras. It was very east since I registered my kayaks with them.

I bought this kayak from Runnings since it was in stock and I must say it is a phenomenal kayak. I do a lot of fishing and in North Dakota a lot of the river banks are overrun with weeds. This Kayak allows me to get out there and catch the fish and not be hung up on weeds. The kayak handles extremely well and is very stable even when the water gets a little rough. The only downside is the kayak did not have the cushion bottom which made it a little uncomfortable to sit on for 4+ hours. If I could find the seat bottom I would definitely enjoy the kayak even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love kayaking but severe arthritis was making getting in and out a real challenge. The sit on kayak is very stable and allows me to get on and out much easier. The kayak is very stable as well. I am not sure I can go everywhere I went previously but I can get most everywhere. I am thrilled to be able to be out on the water whenever I want.

I found this kayak on a great sale and was very pleased to buy two so I could go kayaking with a friend. They have been very useful and steady in the water. When I first transported them, I lost the straps to the seat back and I contacted Lifetime, who promptly replaced them.
Great features. Very comfortable and easy to handle.
