[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great kayak for people with longer legs! Sitting on top, especially for people with mobility issues, is a huge benefit and makes kayaking much more enjoyable!

Can't wait to take them down the river. This kayak appears well made, is light enough for one person to easily carry, and is designed to be comfortable. Lots of seating options and upgrades available.

Found this kayak almost sunk in the Bay... both storage covers were missing and the entire hull was full of water. The covers could be made so they screw on or otherwise don't come off easily and the storage compartments could have boundary walls so only so much water could get into the compartments, so it it gets away in the wind, it won't sink.

I bought this kayak a year ago. I am an experienced kayaker who owns five kayaks which I use for fishing in freshwater and coastal ocean. This kayak runs smoothly and has reasonable maneuverability. For general kayaking, it is as good as can expected for the price. The cons: It isn't as stable as expected for fishing unless focusing on fish under 5 lbs. The handles are not designed for one person to carry. A suggestion is to have two handles on one side about 2' apart. The storage compartment is far too spacious, allowing things to slide around and become out of reach when needed. The opening is too small to fit a life preserver or fishing rods. It seems like a good place to put a water bottle, first aid kit, phone, or small tackle box. Unless the water is dead calm, good luck in trying to reach any of these when you need them after being on the water awhile. Wrapping them in clothing or a towel helps somewhat but they can still become virtually impossible to reach when on the water. WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY AND ESSENTIAL ITEMS ARE OUT OF REACH? Finally, I think this is my first kayak with a paddle provided. That is a nice addition except that this paddle is too flimsy to be practical in some situations. I think I used it once and gave up on it when it was too inefficient. This paddle is plenty for some of the easiest kayaking situations, such as paddling on a pond on a calm day. It is not good when traveling miles in light waves or against a river current to reach an upstream destination. These are kayaking realities for many of us. While this kayak is decent overall, some of the accessories can be improved to provide a better experience for the user.

Most things about this kayak are good. great boat but both the seat strap clips broke and are cheap plastic. I used zip ties to hold it together because of slight back pressure and the clips popped out.

Clip that holds seat back pops loose under pressure at connection point on gunwale. Tried calling customer service 6 times-on hold an average of 7 minutes and never spoke to anyone. 1 month old yak used 5 times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought several different Fishing kayaks for the family. My wife kayak tamarack straps for seat kept slipping loose and eventually lost one of the buckles. Called to get a few replacement buckels and ended up with a whole new replacement seat for the wife thanks to Mr Triton. I inquired about availability of support seats for my grandkids Recruit kayaks and surprisingly again Mr Triton arranged to have two sent to me for both recruit kayaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wife and I have both loved our first kayaks…she is able to get up and close to the birds! During last voyage she encountered “operator error” and somehow lost the seat fasteners. I called Lifetime and they were very helpful… sent us a new strap with the fasteners. Before I bought the kayaks I checked reviews and everyone commented how great the service was… in getting replacement parts. They were right! And we love our kayaks!
