A: Our cast iron cookware is not non stick. the black coating is a natural coating which is baked on vegetable oil.

A: The Cookware made with nontoxic, PFOA & PTFE free material. It would be the Scraper- Lodge Scrapers require a Prop 65 warning. Current inventory is being labeled with the Prop 65 Warning “This product can expose you to BPA, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defect and other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.”

Very disappointing to open the box of the Lodge Cast Iron 6pc Starter Set and find out that the largest skillet had chips and some rust. Never had seen that before on Lodge products. The pic shows the two damaged areas while the skillet was still in its original package. Returning the set, without using any of its parts. :o(

Received them with a chips/rust.. they had this “paint smell” to them. If purchased Lodge products in person at Target and they never smell like this or have had any chips despite being displayed there at the store. Not sure if this is normal but makes me feel like these are not original Lodge.
