Logitech G Astro A50 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset + Base Station (Gen 5) for Xbox - Black

First things first , the firmware they have an update from Dec 2 2020. You can't update nor use the astro command center to play with your headset for gaming. Say goodbye to that. It's good for listening to music. You can use it the headset for gaming but you won't be making any adjustments. Was on support with Astro with 2 different people. First person was clueless. Second person helped but in the end they can offer another headset but it's going to be the same thing. They have advised their customers there is no update to fix this issue and don't know when engineers would fix this issue. The app for astro they send you a differe t download . Tried downloading manually update same issue. You can't use the headset for it's full potential. So that's a no for me. Used to have the A20 with the mixer. Wanted to update to a different and new headset this will also be for the A50s you will run into the same problem.Astro has a long time customer

All around upgrade from the a30s definitely worth the little bit more! Love these they sound great and and extremely comfortable!

These are also very very comfortable. The big issue I have is trying to get these to connect for my teams meetings not sure if it’s user error, software error, or the headphones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are great!! They were wonderful quality and the sound is amazing. They are also very comfortable. The reason I did not give these 5 stars is because the sound leaks, so when I was using them, people in my house were able to hear them from downstairs. They connection is also not perfect, it is not extremely easy to connect them to laptops, sometimes you have to disconnect and then connect again. That being said, the battery life is very nice on these things, and if you are walking around and using them, they will stay put in your head and have a wide range for gamer headphones. Would recommend!!

i bought this headset many years ago, and astro as a company i love they replaced it when i had really random bug and the headset stopped working. but there a lot of issues that overshadow that. i mean to start the lil bar across the top constantly pops out so the cushion isnt really on my head and this has happened ffrom like a month in. 2nd is audio issue they will be constant. i randomly jus have to swap the audio on my pc from audio to game or vice versa because i cannot hear anything and swapping a couple times will randomly make it work. 2nd i have random audio levels, my headset will randomly drop the head 10x and i can never get it back to a correct volume then all of sudden it 20x the loudness making it blow my ears out and i have to quickly spam down my audio buttons. to me i love astro and their company but their headset qualities are jus not it for the price.

A quick google search and we were on our way to gaming. These feel like wearing clouds on your head. The battery life and sound quality seem to be great! It’s wireless and easy to connect and set up. I can use it while gaming on PC or console. I am mostly a PC gamer, although I do enjoy console gaming. The mic is incredibly clear, and everything is coming through reliably, no delays. Battery lasts through an average session, no skips. I'm going to emphasize comfort in this review because the headset is very comfortable. it's lightweight and importantly, it doesn't crush my glasses into the side of my head or hurt my ears. These are two things that I normally hate about headsets to the point where I've actually avoided them sometimes. Logitech knows what you need for a long gaming session because you have to be comfortable. The cups are soft, big but not heavy or tight. It’s the most comfortable headset I've ever worn, it's also pretty light so it moves with me it stays in place and it doesn't hurt my head. top comfort, excellent sound, and a good value because you can use it on any system you're playing on.

If you only play a game without listening to music or talking to other people these work great but given what these are worth, I expected better than the cheap headset I already have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buckle up this is gonna be long! Most of my dislikes are minor things but enough minor things to dock a point. If not for the build up of minor dislikes, then these would get five stars. These were sent to me for review purposes through Influenster. The base is beautiful and comes with different cables to plug into a device of choice or multiple. The ear cushions go over the entire ear and are actually removable. The removable ear cushion for easy cleaning is my favorite part! The plug in actually comes with different attachments so you can travel with them. The base is magnetic so you know when they’re docked and charging. I will say that getting it started was slightly confusing for lack of information. I had to connect the dock, to the device and still use the power cord. I was under the impression that the headset would charge and the dock would work without that, almost how a phone plugs into any other USB and charges. I also needed to manually find the device through the switch. Now maybe most of this is user error but I fully expected the brand to have resources to make things easier. The QR code on the box wasn’t helpful. It takes you to logitechs website BUT it does not take you to your device. You still need to search for your own device. There is no how-to manual or trouble shooting information. They have videos online but none go over any potential mishaps. The manual only offers pictures that are kind of vague. Maybe some people just know how to get things to work without a problem but I am not.

I like the charging base also acts as headphone stand it connects great with my computer or my ps5 the sound is really good and is noise canceling very good my duaghter loves using this to listen to music to block out sounds of noisy house. She likes the fit soft cushions on ear and top of head and feels soft I personally don’t like the cushion on top of head puts pressure on my head I don’t like but overall it’s very nice head set that my kid who is 13 enjoys using and top cushion doesn’t bother her.
