Finally! I have wavy hair that always gets frizzy unless I wash, use product, and diffuse. Who has time for that?! I am a night showerer, and I wake up to flat lifeless hair. My daughter is mixed and my mother adopted a little girl who is African American. We have tested many products to find what works best. I usually spritz with some water for hydration before applying this product, and both girls’ hair forms beautiful curls! I wouldn’t recommend applying it to dry hair. Spritz with water first. I’m not familiar with the different textures for African American hair, but I will post an image.

I’m completely natural and type 4. This product didn’t do anything for me except make my hair look frizzy and feel greasy. I used it once and that was it for me. It smells good but that’s about the only good thing I have to say about it.
