I called the help line and they were very accessible to help with how I wanted to use the bridge. The set up of different stations was not easy to set up turn on and off. When I plugged in the bridge into my internet net hub it may have caused problems with my Streaming and the sound. Need to explore more because the concept is terrific.

My nephew installed this for me to enable me to have greater control on when light come on and off in my home. I enjoy the ease of use and only wish I had had it installed sooner!

I was hoping the app would have given more individual control over each lighting zone.

I am a licensed electrician and have several Lutron Caseta devices in my house and recommend them to all of my customers as well.

I bought this kit about a month ago and am so happy with results. easy to setup and control from my phone. great looking finish plus small compact bridge that you can t even tell is there. looking to add a lot more to my system

The previous Smart Home platform I had been using for 7 or 8 years went out of business overnight, leaving my home "less smart". We rely on our smart switches for numerous devices in the house so we didn't want to be without it for long. The Caseta setup is a nice change and works much better than I had expected. They look nice, have a good feel to them, and the connectivity has been pretty robust. I think we have had them for about 2 months now and I have not had an outage or complaint. The one thing I did have to do was replace some non-dimmable LEDs that were flickering and acting up when I changed over. I like the way the Caseta switches slowly ramp the lighting so I didn't view this as a huge inconvenience. Lutron has a web page where you can check bulb compatibility, which I used when bulb shopping at the hardware store.

A little hard to install but worth it to save energy to have the porch light set to turn off automatically for your own convenience! Would definitely recommend to anyone that forgets to turn on or off their porch light! I tend to forget to turn it off in the mornings so it is a very helpful reminder!

This smart switch took a little bit of time to install but was a simple task as the instructions were easy to follow. The app is easy to install and use. No issues with the app. It is nice to be able to have control over the switch and not have to get up to turn a light on and off.

I absolutely love this smart switch starter kit. Most new houses come with an option to have smart switches installed so to be able to add this on to my older home is amazing. I get home late and forget to have my porch light turned on before I leave with all of the morning chaos in my home. Now I can just use my app to turn my lights on. I can’t wait to switch out all of my lights for this.

It was decently easy to install, it was about as hard as installing a wired smart doorbell or a smart thermostat. My issue was I wasn't expecting a separate control box. Using the panel takes some getting use to because now you go from a switch to a button for on and a button for off. I do enjoy having Alexa capability, so I can ask her to turn my light on or shut it off after we all go to bed.

When I got this, I originally planned on putting it in my living room. However, all of the lights in the main part of my house have double switches. The instructions say you can still install the switch, but that you'll need to go online for the instructions. I couldn't get mine to work that way. I don't think it is the fault of the switch. but the way my house is wired. (The previous owner did some work himself...) I ended up putting it in my bedroom so I can turn the lights off from my bed instead of stumbling in the dark from the switch to the bed. I love it. It's a modern-day "clapper." If you only buy it for the same reason, it is still so worth it. I did have to buy a new faceplate though. It comes with one, but it is only a single. Here in Florida, 95% of bedrooms have a light and a fan switch. Luckily face plates are cheap.

This Lutron Caseta Smart Switch Starter Kit makes my regular bulbs smart. It was easy to install and very simple to use. I really like the added security this brings to our lighting. We can schedule it to turn the lights on and off when needed. It can be controlled from anywhere using the app. It is also voice activated with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. I love this Smart Home Technology. I will be adding to it. This is a great quality product. I would definitely recommend this product.

The fact that they can be used on switches with no neutral wire AND can dim LEDs was a big selling point for me. Making all the switches fit on the new 4-gang wall plate was the only hard part in this whole process for me. The app is decent, although I wasn't sure what the feature "Scene" is for as the instruction made no mention of it. I wish there was some kind follow up email from Lustro after the bridge self-registered. It should have automatically generated an email with instructions or or at least a link to instructions on how to work with the app. Otherwise, will just have to google it. For now, what matters is that it gives me what I need like the geofence - it will turn the outdoor lights on when I get within 1000 ft (minimum) of my house. The bridge seem to have a good signal as the switch is past 4 walls from it, at about 50 ft on the opposite corner of the house. One of the coolest benefits of the Lutron Caseta system is the ability to add 3-way switches basically anywhere without doing any additional wiring

Loving my new Smart Switch! We installed this in our downstairs family room/playroom! Installation was fast and easy and programming setup took some time but was very straightforward. It’s nice to be able to have the lights on now prior to myself or my kids heading down the basement. Love that I can control while not at home and from my phone!

For those who have a smart phone this item is for you. Too bad it doesn’t have a dimmer on it so you can set it to the light you want. We plan to use it at our entrance since we live in a rural community with little lighting.

Easy to set up straight out of the box with simple instructions and a quick process. Works great and haven't had any issues with it so far. Put it in my living room so I could turn the lights and fan on or off whenever I need to without getting up from the comfort of the couch. It's going to be especially handy this Winter when I'm wrapped in a blanket and don't want to move!

This is such a great and handy product. Having this set makes my whole life easier and love that I’m able to use my cell phone to turn on my lights, etc.. I love that the light will come on as I come home!! What a great feature. And I have piece of mind when I’m not at home as well.

As the world trends more toward being connected to everything, I've been slowly integrating more smart home features into my life. So far, of all the devices I've incorporated, lighting has been my favorite. Coming home late and forgot to leave lights on? No problem. Our of town but want to make your space appear occupied? No problem. This solution has worked far better than the alternatives I have tried (which include smart bulbs, smart outlets, etc). The app is easy to use and I love being able to 'control' my environment from afar. Full disclosure, I know nothing about installing electrical anything so I did solicit the assistance of an experienced friend and he indicated it was not difficult at all. Overall I am very pleased with this product and will definitely expand them throughout my home.

I am so excited to get this starter kit installed. It is Google compatible, so it fits in with all of our products. I like that it has an app which makes it convenient when we are not home. We plan on getting more switches through the house.

Full disclosure - I am NOT a "handy" person, so when I see a product that says "Easy Install", as the Lutron Smart Switch kit states, I would shy away. But, forging ahead, I put my limited skills to use in this install and was happy to say it was, indeed, a fairly easy process. I will say I did search for some YouTube videos to help me, and I was definitely ready to contact a handyman. If you follow the steps carefully, it's not that difficult! What you get in this kit is the switch/baseplate in white, along with something called a "Smartbridge" - that's the brains of this whole setup and what powers the various functions via the Lutron app. It simply plugs into a nearby wall socket, and also connects to your router. Everything else is done via the app, an easy to navigate affair with many options. Likes for me were the capability to establish a perimeter (geofencing) that can turn lights on and off as you enter or exit ; a nice "homey" lights on/lights off to look like you're there when not ; the ability to use voice commands (in my case, via Google assistant) to do these tasks. It's also one of few brands that has wide compatibility with Alexa, Apple, Google, so kudos for not making this exclusive!! Lutron is (apparently) a very well respected name in this field, and so far, my experience is positive. Let there be light!
