A: Hi Ernie, as we know, the American Dental Association recommends an RDA of below 250. The RDA of our adult whitening toothpaste is 106.82 and our adult rebuilding toothpaste is 60.72. Our kids toothpastes have an RDA of between 54 and 68. Our PH range varies per toothpaste and range between 6.9 to 8. I hope this answers your query. Q: Hello, if using in conjunction with the whitening toothpaste, would the whitening formula prevent this formula from rebuild one's enamel? Also, does this formula make enamel look less transparent?

A: Hi M, as dentists, we often recommend combining two toothpastes so you are getting the best from both types of toothpastes. I would recommend using the whitening paste in the morning and the rebuilding toothpaste at night. Our whitening paste is going to work to break down staining and to brighten and our rebuilding toothpaste will work to incorporate hydroxyapatite to rebuild enamel. This toothpaste was over the top with mint. It actually burned my mouth. I eat altoids with no problems. So, that gives you an idea of how strong the toothpaste is. It also doesn't work as good as sensodyne on sensitivity. One-third into the tube, I was having sensitivity issues. I never have that with Sensodyne.

Made By Dentists toothpaste has been a favorite of mine for years. Love that it's ADA accepted and has fluoride. The mint does not burn my mouth, which is a huge plus and I am sensitive to the SLS in most toothpaste. If you ever need to contact Made By Dentists, you'll hear back from them in no time. I've never before experienced the excellent customer service that they provide. Will use this brand for years to come!

I have been using this toothpaste for 2 weeks now. After having a deep teeth cleaning, the polishing apparently got rid of my protective layer on my teeth and they started staining very bad. No matter how I brushed and what whitening toothpaste I used, the stains stayed! I was frustrated and thought my teeth would stay like this until I get a professional whitening. I made a little search and decided that I needed rebuilding my enamel. This toothpaste popped up in my search and I gave it a try. The stains started fading every day, this is how I knew it is working! I’m highly satisfied with the results and it has been only couple weeks of use.

If you like a strong mint toothpaste this one is for you. It’s way too strong for me and burns my mouth if I brush for too long. They recommend 2 minutes for the hydroxyapatite to work but it’s tough with the strong burning mint.

Tube to wide and stiff. Swueeze is ok till tube has 1/2 left. After that toothpaste is too difficult to come out when squeezing. Only able to release the remainder by cutting tube open in the middle.

Like the formula don't like the packaging

The toothpaste taste and texture is fine. My teeth feel clean after use. My breath feels fresh. But the packaging isn’t good. The cap doesn’t seal completely shut. And the indented opening makes for a mess under the cap. A lot of cleaning it after every use and wasted product. Struggling to not touch the opening with toothbrushes because of the way it comes out. Very soft tube so beware of how you pack this for travel. Definitely needs a packaging upgrade. Don’t know if I’d purchase again because I really don’t like messy toothpaste tubes.

I’ve been buying Sensodyne Pronamel “Intensive Enamel Repair” for years but gave this a try. I really like it! It has a nice taste…not that i’m eating it. I think i’m going to make the switch and buy this toothpaste again. But man… the cap is terrible. It’s like it was made for a hand lotion, not for toothpaste. I prefer to just unscrew the cap and avoid it altogether when i go to use it. But even then the hole coming out of the tube is still a bit too big so i always end up squeezing out more toothpaste than i wanted. i really hope they improve this someday.

I am on my third tube! I have noticed my teeth feel less ridged and more smooth, like getting your braces off for the first time. This doesn’t whiten, but I can use vivid white whitestrips now which I couldn’t before due to sensitivity! I recommend.

Love how this toothpaste has both fluoride AND hydroxyapatite as usually you can only find one or the other. I have lots of medical issues regarding bone loss and resorption (like osteonecrosis and osteoporosis) and needed a morning toothpaste to go along with my Rx high fluoride night toothpaste. This tastes so strong and minty like the original Altoids - which I swear have gotten much weaker over the years in the USA since becoming mainstream - and really freshens your breath on top of helping to slow down my enamel loss. I don't believe it is rebuilding it but at least it isn't disappearing as quickly.

This is one of the only toothpaste available that has fluoride and hydroxyapatite which offers superior enamel repair. The only other one I’m aware of is 3M which is crazy expensive. Would highly recommend!

TL,DR: Dope. ADA seal? ✅ Enamel Protect? ✅ This is a solid toothepaste. It’s among the VERY FEW ADA sealed toothpastes that has the seal to give further assurance it’ll do what it claims to do. My wife & I used to use Sensodyne/Pronamel, which wasn’t bad. We’ve enjoyed the experience of using this product, and transparency of the company with ingredients & practices. Also includes an additional ingredient for enamel protection that’s, from what I researched, is effective & is not found in other products.

Recommended by my dentist and I like it! Smells like the treatment I get at a dental cleaning so am able to get that fresh, clean feeling at home. Has helped with my enamel and sensitive teeth. Fluoride is essential in cavity prevention and for a good toothpaste.

Caused irritation

I love the whitening version by the same brand, but this one irritated my tongue. Initially I thought it was a mouthwash my dentist gave me after dental work, but I stopped using it over a week ago and the irritation continued. The irritation was so bad that eating spicy food set my tongue on fire. It finally dawned on me that I could be this toothpaste which I was using for the first time every day twice a day. I just stopped using it and my tongue is already feeling better. I think the irritation will be fully cleared up tomorrow. I made the mistake of buying two so I have another tube that I can't return (I took it out of the box).

There’s no way this is actually made by dentists. Fluoride is terrible for teeth for starters. Secondly, the black stripe on the back of the tube indicates this is filled with chemicals. Stay away.

Hi Targetsucks, the black mark on our tube is used to help the manufacturing process. When the tube is sealed, the sensor picks up on the mark so the machine knows exactly where to seal. It does not indicate anything about the formulation of the product. There are lots of toothpastes that don't contain fluoride if that is your preference. We include fluoride in our products because it is the most scientifically proven ingredient proven to reverse early cavities and prevent future cavities and gum disease. I’ve never felt the need to review toothpaste but I really like this. I picked it up on a whim but it actually makes my teeth look healthier and whiter than any “whitening” toothpaste I’ve tried. I don’t understand the reviews about awful taste? It tastes like mint toothpaste.
