Of course it's quiet -- it's supposed to be! It's fun when it makes cute little noises (my Granddaughter says).

Stopped working after a day and can’t hear the messages anyway. Very odd

I keep reading that the secret message is hard to hear when it's supposed to only be heard by the person who places their forehead onto the little kitty's forehead. That's why it's called "Magic Whispers Luna" People act like it's supposed to say the message out loud for everyone to hear. Read the full description of the toy before purchasing! Common sense people! Anyway, my daughters loves it and we bought one for our little niece as a birthday present. We love this thing!

This kitty is cute but has said some crazy things one of them being I hope we don’t get pulled over by the police??! Why would they have a child’s toy say that? Very weird!

Adorable toy. It works exactly as described. The silent whispers are too quiet to hear at times. It lights up bright and hasn’t drained the batteries yet. I will be purchasing an extra as a back up.

the worst thing i ever bought for my daughter. horrible thing. cute but evil! hard to hear . even my dog hates her! do not buy skye! she is clearly evil and dumb. she stares at you every way she can! and mad!!!!! some times she cant even stand up! dont buy her shes reallllllllllllly MAD!!!! shes says ask me a yes or no question and then when you do she asks you the question again! she even makes my dog mad. she will even laugh at you! she probably has her own mind but it might be really tiny! her eyes are too glittery for my daugther. do not recommend this item. she looks like a alien. her mouth is to big. she is truly EVIL AND MAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and scares my dog so she runs away!!!!!!!!!!!

We’ve received 3 of these now, all broken. Put batteries in and the toy just makes the same annoying noise over and over again. Don’t know how this is possible. Is it shipping? Is it a problem at the factory? In any case, disappointing

You can’t hear what the cat is saying in secret. It’s just muffled. It’s playing quiet over the top of loud meows. Disappointed. Kiddo still likes it because it’s a rainbow cat stuffy, but they can’t get it to be audible.

She’s cute! Great for any little cat lover. Lights up pretty colors and makes lots of sounds. Doesn’t come with batteries.

Really cute toy that sounds like it would be fun, but the secret messages are so low that they are hard to hear.

My disgustingly adorable 7 year old loves cats, but we have a cat allergy, so we figured this might hold her off for awhile. She LOVES how adorable this cat is, so that is a plus. The mechanics of the kitty unfortunately… she sheds for starters, but that’s not a deal breaker. The “magic whisper”… the speaker comes from behind the heart jewel in her head. So you can only hear it if the jewel is pressed. If you press it and let go, you cannot hear it at all. If you are forehead to forehead: no dice. The jewel is too hard to press with the soft cartilage of your ear or anything surrounding your ear. The only way we can get her to whisper anything is pressing her jewel with our finger, keeping it pressed, and shoving the jewel directly against our ear. Even then, it still comes across somewhat muffled at times (tinny sounding speakers) and the purring and sounds Luna makes for everyone else to hear are very loud so you still only hear her about half the time. It is an adorable concept, and thankfully I got her during the pre-holiday toy sales so I bought her for about half price or I would be really disappointed. If you have a disgustingly cute little one that would make friends with a fluffy sock if it were cute enough like I do, and have allergies to real cats, this does the trick, but it does not really work as expected, so be prepared.
