A: For the best lightening results, I recommend to color remove the dye out of your hair first then after some time, do a test strand with the bleach kit to see how your hair lifts.

Would've been 5 stars if there was enough product in there for your full head with one box, even for shoulder length thin hair. Couldn't finish my bleach job, BUT it's a good product when you're in a rush.

This worked better than the Brite stuff I tried before. I bleach my ends before drying them a bright color. I find this brand is not the best for color, but I like this bleach.

I order two of the bleaching sets and one of the boxs was missing the developer and it also was delayed and the box was all crushed up i have never had a problem with target this is my first time having a problem with them missing something.

Not sure if it's a packaging issue on Manic Panic's end or if it's an issue with the Ulta Beauty supplies in this store, but when I opened this kit 4 out of 7 items were missing. No cap, no gloves, no missing tub, no tint rush. I went back to hopefully do an exchange and checked the boxes and the shelf and they were all missing the same items. The store isn't exactly close by and it's one of the only places that actually stocks the kit regularly, so kinda sucked to hack off 2 hours of my day just driving to and from twice. I can't really rate the effectiveness or quality of it considering I never got to use it. It's a shame considering Manic Panic products are generally great.

This is one of the only bleaching kits I ever fully trust using on my hair period. I purchased two kits because my hair is naturally dark brown but also incase I dont need the second one I can save it to use to change my hair again in the future which is why I love that the product is seperated so its not activated until both are mixed.

Best bleach I’ve used in the 20 years of dying my hair. Bleach usually turns my hair into straw. No texture or dryness changes. If you go from a dark color, you need to do it more than once. My hair goes to mid back. It took 3 boxes. I’m waiting a month to rebleach to lighter color. I don’t want to damage hair. I started with black hair. It’s orange now. I look like I’m cosplaying as the chick from the 5th element.

I've always heard great things about Manic Panic from friends who regularly dye their hair. I had no doubt the bleach kit was going to work on me, but it took way longer than it said on the box (50 minutes) since I am East Asian and have much darker hair. So, if you've got dark hair, make sure to put it in for much longer than the recommended time and check periodically!

Ive bleached my hair at least 100 times in my life, and I’ve tried almost every single product. Nothing has ever lifted color like this. I got this expecting it to be subpar, but this has been the most even and platinum my hair has ever gotten. This will be my new go to!
