I needed a strong look for outdoor use to secure our earthquake supplies in a large outdoor bin. It’s probably overkill to have a lock that can’t easily be cut, but these days, you can’t be too careful. The lock has some heft/weight to it, so it feels very heavy duty - and the design itself is genius. Strongly recommend!

The key unlocks easily and it closes/opens well without sticking. The shrouded shackle seems to really help prevent tampering.

We have struggled to find a lock that is not only strong, easy to use, and is not real easy for someone to use bolt cutters to take it off. We like that this lock has very little room once it is put on his toolbox for someone to try to cut it off. The lock is very smooth and locks and unlocks with ease. This lock is easy to use and it is weather resistant with a stainless steel case. Double deadbolt locking and a key retaining feature ensures padlock is not left unlocked which is so satisfying to me. It has 2 keys and shrouded body protects shackle against prying and cutting. I have used this lock both inside and outside and am very pleased with it!

I used mine to secure a steel tether-cable for a vehicle safe and am very confident in its strength. Actuating the lock with the key is straight forward and there is an oil port for long term maintenance. Very good device and I do recommend it.
