[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of knives is a decent cheap set of knives. They cleaned up well with the nonstick coating, but I found it would rub off quite easily. If you refer to the picture, you'll see where I was able to rub it off by lightly scraping it with another knife from the set. They were sharp out of the package, and I haven't used them enough to know how well they'll hold that edge, but they feel cheap, and I can't imagine they're mad of quality steel. For the price point, I'd say they're worth it, but if you're looking for something to last, these are not the set for you.

The handles are very comfortable and the weight feels good in the hand. The knife guards are good quality and having the type of blade written on each guard helps you to use the right blade for the job every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are brand new knives not supposed to already be sharpened? My husband is a trained chef, so who better to test out these knives? He said the pairing knife wouldn’t even cut through an apple. He had to saw through the apple! The other knives were no better. They look really nice and have the safety guards for the blades, but that’s about the only positive thing we can say.

I love the matte black coating- it looks expensive. The knives are really sharp. I best part is the comfortable handle shape and feel. I love that they come with safety covers.

The blades are definitely sharp out of the box but not to sure how they will hold up after some time of use. The blade sleeves are an added plus and should keep my fingers whole and safe. The is a complete set the should do it all.
