Matchbox Action Drivers Police Station Dispatch Playset

(We have the fire department and the mountain rescue center). It was easy to put together. And I’ve found it keeps their attention. Would definitely recommend to others.

It has been a hit with my kids, ages 4 and 6, who love to play pretend right now. While it's not the largest set out there, it’s detailed and realistic enough to keep them engaged for long stretches. The set connects easily to other Matchbox City sets, which adds to the fun and makes expansion easy. The built-in siren lights and sounds are exciting for kids (but a fair warning to parents: it can get noisy!). Assembly can be tricky trying to get the pieces locked in together and really rough play can undo all your hard work, but it's solid fun nonetheless.

My son who just turned 5 loves to park all his matchbox cars in the lot and especially loves that if you push down on the helipad, it opens the police gate which kicks down a car down the ramp. His friends came over and they loved playing with this set as well. It comes with a police car and a helicopter. It took minutes to build as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really enjoying the matchbox series of cars with different settings to play in. This one is the police dispatch but we have a few of them. The main reason i like this so much is how easily it connects with other items in this line as you'll see in the attached pictures. My son appreciates that it has a lot of moving parts such as various gates to op3n, a door that goes up, traffic cop you can swing in and out of position in the road. It looks a bit of a mess out of the box but was easy enough to put together using the included instructions. In addition to the car this set came with a helicopter.

They enjoy the fact that it has a patrol car and a helicopter. It is portable and can be used anywhere but they liked playing with it on the floor together and acting out with role play.

There is a button on the helicopter pad that makes siren sounds and opens the police gate which kicks the car down thru. It would be great if this connected to more stations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The playset is super fun and great for imaginative play. It was really easy to put together thanks to clear directions, and it feels super sturdy. The lights and sounds are a cool touch, and the moveable gates and parking spots make it feel like a real police station. Plus, it connects to other Matchbox sets, so you can build out a whole city. A couple of small downsides: there’s no ramp to the upper garage, it only comes with one police car (two would’ve been better), and the track is a bit small. Also, there aren’t any stickers for the stoplight, which would’ve added a nice finishing touch.

It makes sounds and lots of moving parts. There are many different angles to play this each kid can have their own section without getting in the way of the other. My 3 year and 5 year olds have had a blast with this, even my 9 year old jumps in to play. Its a win win for our family!

It has some nice features like a working garage door and sound effects. It's easy to set up, and you can use it with other Matchbox cars too, which is always great if you already have a collection. It comes with one police car and one helicopter. Overall, if you’re into interactive play and you love Matchbox cars, this set is a fun addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really fun little matchbox set. There are lots of moving spots, like the entrance to the parking garage. The directions of putting the set together was pretty easy and it came together pretty quickly. It was a little tricky to follow the directions for the action. Basically, if you press down on the helicopter pad, it makes sound, opens up the main gate, and puts down a parking arm to stop people from coming that way. I like the combo of a little bit of electronic play to add in, but it's mostly geared toward imaginative free play.

He loves the moving parts and the interactive sounds that it makes. The sirens sound just like the real one. My child wants to collect other action drivers sets.

He loves the interactive features like the lights, sounds and moving gates. He has created countless scenes with heroic rescues. It is a great toy for imagination. The toy itself is easy to assemble and is quite durable. It also has the ability to connect to other Matchbox scenes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son loves it. His face lit up when i gave it to him. Me and him opened it and put it together. Assembly was easy. Placement of the stickers was easy except ones that went on the roads and instructions weren't very specific for those particular stickers. Car is metal but the helicoptor is plastic. So the sticker issue and the plastic helicoptor are my only complaints.

They love some of the unique features such as the gates that slide open and that when you press on the helipad, one of the gates opens and it makes helicopter noises. It wasn’t difficult to assemble and connects to other matchbox playsets as shown in my photo where we attached it to our airport toy that we already owned. Great addition for your little matchbox car lover!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up of this toy was easy, took about 5 minutes. My 5 year old daughter and I loved playing with this toy and grabbed a couple more matchbox cars to make it more fun. Lots of pretend play available with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting it together was a pain. The directions had no words only pictures and some of the pieces look similar. Once it was together however, my son had a bladt with it and played with it for an hour. He was really excited about the noises it makes and that the propellers on the helicopter move.
