Q: Hi, my hair is weird. On some occasions, my hair gets curly when is reacts to little amounts of water ... but only the bottom half of my hair. I was wondering, does any of your products enhance curls, if so, which ones?

Rated 3.5 out of 5 I tried Maui Moisture Nourish & Moisture Shampoo, and overall, I have mixed feelings. I have color-treated, wavy hair, so I’m always looking for something that hydrates without weighing it down. The shampoo definitely smells amazing—like a tropical coconut dream—and it lingers in my hair for a while, which I love! However, after washing, my hair did feel slightly stiff and a bit drier than I expected, especially compared to other moisturizing shampoos I’ve used. I think it may not be moisturizing enough for my color-treated strands, as they tend to need extra hydration. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but I definitely had to follow up with a deep conditioner to get my hair feeling soft and smooth again. If you don’t have color-treated hair or don’t mind a little extra moisture, this could be a great option for you.

Too heavy for my hair, made my hair look unwashed. It worked in a family members hair that is thick and course but still looks greasy at top at times, gets greasy quicker than other products of same conditional use. I think this really has to be used for very very dry hair. It made moderately dry hair look a bit greasy

It smells great but my hair has been frizzier and needing more frequent washes since I started using this. If I go more than two days without washing it looks like I haven’t showered in a week. I have thin, damaged curly hair and it has become even thinner since I started using this product. I had been using Native before which was helping my damage and will absolutely switch back— whatever is in this formula does NOT work for my hair type and seems counterproductive to what it claims to be made for.

I have very oily hair, like shower and the next day its oily kind of hair. So i was hesitant to try this because its moisturizing, but surprisingly it left my hair so soft and the next day it doesnt get oily. Ive tried their other shampoos but this one is top tier. I just wish they sold this in bigger bottles
