Maxi-Cosi Gia XP Luxe 3-Wheel Travel System

There are no instructions for the newborn car seat inserts. Do we remove them? If so when?? This is a huge safety concern. Also, the stroller feels very cheap. The handle bar is bent and it’s a very bumpy ride for baby. I would not recommend this stroller.

Only reason I have a 3/5 is because the latch broke after folding it maybe two or three times. The latch itself is plastic and very fragile so you have to keep an eye on it when you fold the stroller so it doesn't accidentally bend inwards. A very poor design there. Other than that, it's been great! It took our little one about 6 weeks to get used to car seats/stroller, but now she loves napping in it a little too much and seems generally very comfortable.

Gia Model stroller not safe. I have had several stroller over the years with my children but now as a grandmother, I have to say this stroller stresses me out. There is no safety clasp on the harness to secure the child in the stroller. The toddlers can easily get out from the straps and lean all the way towards the front which can cause the child to tip the stroller and fall on their face/head. I called to ask about ordering something to secure the harness but there is nothing available or any remedy suggested. I would NOT recommend this stroller to anyone who cares about their child's safety.

I had a travel system with our last baby and really loved it so I was excited to try something different. The stroller was easy to put together and folded in half making it slightly smaller (lengthwise) than my last. With that said, it does have a slightly smaller undercarriage but is easy to access from front and back that still provided a decent amount of space. What I wasn't used to was that the carseat attached onto the stroller seat which made it feel bulkier. I'm used to the travel system where the carseat attaches directly to the stroller frame and can be swapped out for the seat once baby was bigger, not one sitting on top of the other. The carseat itself was significantly heavier than my last and with baby, it was quite heavy. I don't have alot of upper strength so using a carseat that is in and of itself heavy might make me reconsider. The stroller was easy to maneuver especially with one hand and having the 3 wheels vs 4 made it that much easier. The seat was easy to adjust and provided enough cushion where you really dont feel the frame. The canopy was great in providing shade on the sunny days and the mesh vent allowed air to flow while I can peek in from above. Overall, I felt it was durable and great for something that can last through the early stages from baby to toddler.

Overall I think this is a good quality travel system for a reasonable price. This feels like a good midpoint between a cheaper system and a premium system. The materials are nice quality and it almost feels like a more expensive product but there are some things that I don't love and would change. The stroller is nice overall but it is a bit bulky when folded and the seat folds to be on the outside which I don't love since it would get dirty when closed up in transit. My biggest complaint is the seat placement/depth, my older daughter is 19m and it looks very uncomfortable, almost like she's falling out of it with nowhere to comfortably place her legs because the seat depth is so shallow. That said, the canopy expands very far and it would be great for naps on the go with the full seat recline. The car seat is nice overall, the padding feels like a cozy jersey material and is very similar to my Nuna. The base and seat are both very lightweight which is nice if have you move the base between cars plus the benefit of a light seat when carrying a baby in it. The handlebar doesn't have any padding or grip on it which can be uncomfortable and a bit slippery if you're holding it with the crook of your arm. Overall I think it's a very nice set.

I'm very impressed by this Gia XP Luxe 3-Wheel Travel System. The luxe materials and top quality safety design will serve any new parent and baby well. Pros: — Very competitive price-point for a high-end all-in-one bundle. —Great padding for protection and comfort — Luxury material on the carseat and stroller plus a nice handle bar grip — Great wheels for all terrain strolling and a very smooth ride. — Assembly is nearly complete and ready for baby right out of the box. All you have to do is snap the wheels on the stroller, install the seat in the car and you're ready to go. — Perforations in the seat allow for extra airflow. These seats can get very warm, especially when a child is facing backward away from car vents. This seat's ventilation allows for comfort on hot days. — Firm foot-activated lock feature for wheels keeps the stroller in place — Extended canopies on the seat and stroller both have 3 different positions, keeping the sun out of baby's face at any time of day. Stroller canopy has a mesh section so you can see baby at all times. Cons: — Handle bar is just a little tall for me, a 5'5" woman. This would be a big perk for taller individuals. —Stroller seat is not very deep and starts to slope downward at about 7" without the padding. My 6 year old likes to ride on occasion and while she can fit, it's not meant for her size. — Recline positions on the stroller are only adjustable via a pull strap, which causes fabric slack in the seat if it isn't in the recline position — There is no seat bar or snack bar on the stroller. We stopped using the stroller harness once our son was around two, we but appreciate a bar to keep him in place. — There is no dedicated footrest for kids with longer legs. Bottom line, this is a fabulous travel system for the baby stage, but might need to be upgraded for more mobile kids after 12-18 months. This maxi-Cosi travel system is every parent's dream. It makes everything so much easier! This was very easy to set up and use. Amazing quality. Very sturdy and very well made. I feel safe and happy using this with my baby. It's easy to breakdown when needed. I absolutely love it!

The first time out with this stroller walking about a mile in the left side of the stroller made a snap noise and it folded like when you collapse it. I wasn't putting any weight on it, it just went over a slight bump when it did that and now it never stays fully in place. It partially collapsed every hundred feet or so…

I love the Carseat, super sturdy and pretty! the stroller is great because we use it for our neighborhood runs and its a smooth ride. I would have loved to see the front wheel a little bigger than what it is. Overall this is a great Travel System and I have told my friends about it so they can go and purchase it for there babies.

Wow, this is a nice stroller set. Right out of the box, I noticed how sleek and high quality it looks, and the same was true once I took my daughter for a stroll. It is SMOOTH — I mean, it really rides nicely. That's my favorite part. The handle is nice and grippy; the brake is easy to use (it's right in the center); and the front wheel can even be locked in straight. I'm also a big fan of the extended canopy to keep the sun out of my kiddo's eyes. I love this stroller!!! It really feels like it will hold up for many walks to come. This system is the best! I love that it's so safe and I feel like a good mom for getting this high-end set for my baby. it's easy to use and looks so sleek. It fits in my Subaru forester and so easy to take in and out of the car. I love it and so does my baby!

This is the only infant seat I feel comfortable putting a newborn into. Its quality can not be beat. The stroller is fantastic and pushes like a dream, even one handed while chasing other littles. Easy to fold and unfold as well

I love this stroller and car seat set! It's very easy to use and my baby seems very comfortable in it. Baby doesn't seem to get over heated in it and I am able to store plenty of stuff in its basket. The cup holder is handy for me as are the pockets. The padding is also very easy to clean

We are enchanted with our Gia XP Luxe Travel System. It was just 2 seconds to assemble, so easy and quick. The quality is 10/10 it's soft material also pillowy for much better comfort for the baby. Both car seat and stroller have great canopy. Easy to open and close the stroller, it's perfect size to have it for a long time till your baby outgrow it and I will say it will stay great conditions when that happen.

Compared to other products the initial setup of the carseat, base and stroller was easy to assemble. Everything just snapped into place. I really love how sleek the canopy of the carseat is. I love the extended canopy on the stroller. It provides extra shade for those sunny days and a good shield from the germs. I like the access to the under seat storage on the stroller. I can access the storage from the front and back of the stroller. Another feature I enjoy is the adjustable handbar. My husband is tall and I didnt realize how much it was needed till we started using this stroller and he kept adjusting it. I like that the seat covers on the carseat are washable and easily comes off. I do find that the stroller was really weird when unfolding it. I was often unsure if it was completely locked into place. I wish the stroller had a tray in front and a cup holder for my little one. Other than that I recommend this product and look forward to seeing accessories to accompany the stroller. This product was provided free for my review.

This car seat and stroller combo has definitely been a winner for us. The car seat is very comfortable for baby and keeps her safe and secure while in it. It clicks in very easily into both the base and the stroller. The canopy on it is a great size and easily blocks unwanted sunlight. The stroller pushes very easily and is fairly light compared to other strollers I've tried in the past. Only thing i wish was different is that i would be nice if the child could lay flat in the stroller seat.

I have had nothing but trouble! I wish I could get my money back for all of it. But it was on my registry. They can't seem to invent a sunshade that works for older or newer versions. It is an awful design.

This travel system is hands down the best I've ever owned. The stroller is lightweight and ease to maneuver and load in and out of the car for transport. It fold up easily with minimal effort. The strolled rolls smoothly and provides plenty of cushion for my 5 month old son. He looks and seems comfortable when riding in it. The infant car seat is very versatile for locking in place in the stroller. It has padded in the right places and is holds them in securely. Overall, this is a great product that will grow with my son for years to come.
