Q: We just purchased this today. The 360 and crane drop controls are not working. The only one that is working is the control that makes the crane go up and down. Is there some way to troubleshoot this before I go make an exchange?

A: Hi Chia! Thank you for your feedback! It sounds like the toy might still be in "try me" mode, which limits some of its features. To enable full functionality, including the hook movement and 360-degree rotation, the crane needs to be switched out of this mode. Please try that and let us know if all the features start working properly.

Q: This did not come with instructions - we had 4 different adults check everything. Huge thanks to one of the question askers - the switch at the bottom of the truck enables rotation and crane lowering.

Rope doesn't go up and down. I did turn the switch underneath. The crane still swivels and goes up and down. But the rope portion is broken.

My son has had a ton of fun with this truck! A lot of reviews say 2 out of 3 controls don’t work or it broke immediately.. you have to turn the truck over and take it out off demo mode for all of the controls work. Once you do that it’s a blast!

The first one, the little crane arm stopped going up and down immediately. We returned and got a new one. The second one, the arm now won’t go up and down and the crane won’t drive forward or backwards. DO NOT BUT

The truck is awesome, however if your child moves the crane at all it no longer moves with the levers. My 5 year old just turned the crane with her hand, instead of using the levers, and now 2/3 of them don’t work. It still turns so my kids don’t mind they just move it manually, but I do think that’s just off.

So disappointed. This product does not work after one use. The frane does not go up and down and the 360 portion does not turn around. Got it for a boy who loves all things construction trucks and he is so disappointed all the parts stopped working.

I bought two of these because I thought the first one was faulty when the joysticks didn’t respond. However, I discovered my mistake when the second one arrived. There’s a power button underneath the crane that needs to be switched on. The truck is preset to “Try Me” mode, so the joysticks won’t work unless you turn it on from the bottom. It’s a really fun toy, and my child loved it!

It was still on "try me" mode. However, this vehicle goes forward. The crane moves up and down and the spot where the driver sits goes side to side. This is a very cool toy for kids!

My son was SOOO excited to open this gift for Christmas - he's been asking for a toy crane for months. Sadly, the string unlatched from the hook rendering it completely unusable. He's heartbroken.

One thing is make sure to take it from test mode to on under the toy to get access to all the features. I only gave 1 star because I had to pick one. I bought this for my son for Christmas, the hook part that goes up and down didn’t work. I exchanged it today for a new one and the hook part didn’t work…. Again AND it didn’t move around at all when it’s suppose to move 360 degrees (the first one I bought did). This isn’t a dig at target- target and the company of this toy needs to figure out how to make it work correctly if they are going to sell it for almost $40.
