McDavid Sport Knee Brace with Hinges - Black

It’s a good hinged brace, a bit difficult to get on and I am not a large woman at 130 lbs. but it is does what it needs to, stabilizing my knee.

I think the brace would be good but despite measuring at the lowest end of the S/M, it was so tight, I couldn’t even get it on all the way. It did seem supportive from what I could tell, but unless you are exceptionally slim, you will likely need the L/XL.

It's great for when I want added support for my knees while working out or playing sports. It comes in two sizes so I would get the precise measurement to get the right fit.

This brace fit my knee snuggly and the velcro kept it in place. The covered hinges didn't bother my other knee once! Had a good time playing and left the court in one piece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my mom, she's been working as a server for 20+ years and after injuries in high school not healing properly, running around a restaurant for years on end her knees have seen better days. Ive boughten her countless products to try to help ease the pain, after going through a bunch of cheaper products I thought it would be good to try out a higher end item and with the changes ive seen this is definitely worth the extra money! From her words it was a huge life improvement for her, with more knee mobility and being able to work all through her shifts with it on and not having any kind of discomfort from the brace itself. She does wear a compression sleeve underneath- she didn't the first shift she tried it out and it did cause slight discomfort so it is definitely recommended to have one on if wearing for longer periods of time. All over an amazing product and im happy to see my mom moving around with a little more pep in her step

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The McDavid Sport Knee Brace with Hinges is easy to put on. The lining is very comfortable to the skin. Though it gets pretty warm during the warm days. The support is very good and effectively minimize the knee pain i was experiencing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Concept of the brace is great, but there are a couple of drawbacks. The style is pull on and that gives it structure, but it seems to run small and is hard to pull on and off. The small/medium maybe should be sized separately with this pull on feature. My leg is not heavy and it was tough getting it off without help and it left temporary marks on the skin. Opening for the knee cap is a tad too small. Perhaps this brace would be mor usable if it were one that was open and it could be wrapped and velcroed. Needs more refinement in the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the McDavid Sport Knee Brace with Hinges a few days ago and it is simply perfect. I selected it because my daughter has got a knee problem and suffers when she is too active. Like for example, she is part of the high school marching band and she was feeling pain after 1h30 of rehearsal. Now with the brace, no more pain!!! She is very happy with it. She told me that she does not feel it. It is very comfortable and you can wear it for as long as you want. She also mentioned that it is very easy to set it up. Obviously, I am very happy that the brace works that well. I am also surprised in a very good way that the brace is as efficient than putting sport tape to support the knee. This is for me a very good point because the brace is a lot easier to set up and it is reusable for as long as she wants. In conclusion, if you have knee pain and you need support, you will not be disappointed with the McDavid Sport Knee Brace with Hinges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brace is not that cheap kind you just slide over your knee and wonder what it's doing. This provides so much support and helps relieve a lot of tension and pain so you can keep going as per usual. Make sure you get the right size - I feel like that could potentially make a big difference in it's effectiveness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knee support with hinges does provide good support, and the hinges are a nice feature. However, even though it is the corrrect size based on measurements and the size chart provided, it feels a little too snug. And after wearing it for awhile, the spot where the hinges are on each side of the knee, get sore. So it’s good support for shorter periods of time, but hard to wear for a longer period of time. I would recommend that if you are close to the next size up, according to the size charts, get the bigger size. I still give it 5 stars, and would recommend it.

I can wear it for long periods of time and feel better after using it. I like that it can be used for right or left so no need to buy multiple braces. The moisture feature helps avoid a sweaty leg during which is awesome. I love this super comfortable knee brace.

I have soreness in my knee from years of laying flooring and I wear a knee brace to help with the soreness. This brace is a bit tight for a S/M but is made of good quality. The hinges on the side of the knee allow for added support. Fits both the left and right knee.
