Q: Is it effective at removing COVID-19 from the air?

A: Thanks for your inquiry. Although our MA-22 hasn't been tested yet in removing Covid-19 particles, our purifiers share the same capability in filtering out 99.9% particles down to 0.1 microns. We're currently working on all our units to be tested as well. Currently, the ones tested are the MA-40, MA-50, and MA-112 since they are mainly used in industrial and business areas. A: Mine came with the filter installed but still wrapped in plastic. FYI you have to turn the base counter-clockwise to remove it, not clockwise as the directions and visual aid on the base indicate!

I have a small condo, upstairs unit and the downstairs neighbor cigarette smoke is coming in our condo. I have 6 air purifiers all on the highest settings and this unit DOES NOT REMOVE THE CIGARETTE SMOKE! It is extensively loud on the highest setting. I do not recommend buying this product.

You will never be able to get replacement filters especially if you live in California because they don’t meet air quality standards so not allowed to ship here. Target doesn’t even sell the replacement filters!

Overall, this is a great air purifier. My roommates and I have severe allergies (dust, pollen, cat dander) and we notice immediately if the air purifier has been turned off or is turned down a setting. We use it on our main level, which is around 400sqft, on the highest setting and run it 24/7. One downside is that it's difficult to take apart and put back together. The plastic seems warped or stuck (it's pretty thin so that's pretty easy to have happen). The purifier will not turn itself back on (for example, after a power outage or if you use a smart plug), which would be nice but isn't a huge deal. The buttons are not gonna be ideal for anyone with low vision (or limited manual dexterity, for that matter). The biggest drag is that it didn't come with an extra filter like the product listing says. It comes with *a* filter.

There are no instructions on how to begin operation out of the box. It is not difficult BUT the filter that is already loaded into the machine IS STILL WRAPPED IN PLASTIC! There is no warning about this. So, you have to open the machine, take out the filter, and remove the plastic, that is, if you notice the plastic. The next problem is that the instructions on how to open the base and the little diagram on the bottom of the base are WRONG! You turn the base to the left (counter-clockwise) to open it, NOT to the right (clockwise) as indicated! The machine itself seems to work but I've only had it a couple days. Levels S, 1, and 2 are quiet but 3 is relatively loud. I run that when we are away.

It definitely keep the air clean. You can feel and smell the difference in my dining room. I have it right next to Esmeralda my plant baby it has helped bring her back to life and it is actually getting the closed in smell out of my home.

This is a machine that is QUIET while doing a big job! I love that there are settings for a variety of fan speeds, 1,2,4,8 hour timer for turning off and a LOCK button for preventing little hands from pressing buttons they shouldn’t. Our air felt stuffy and after a few days with this on, I could feel a difference with breathing easier. And you can’t beat clearing the air of germs when we are getting into the “sick” season!

I absolutely love this air purifier. The unit is a little bigger than I thought but it sits nicely on my shelf. It has a nice quiet fan sound when it is running. I enjoy the sound when I am working. It moves the air in my office quite nicely. I would definitely recommend this air filter.

I have been using this Medify air purifier for a good 5 weeks and have been loving it! I have 2 cats and I’m happy to know it helps with pet dander. This cleans a 330 sq ft room in 30 minutes. This is so nice to clean your in home air. I don’t mind keeping this out in the open since it’s so small and looks great anywhere. I never owed a air purifier before this but I’m so happy to have one now. The fan can be a little loud when you turn it on, but the sound easily fades away and you can barely hear it. I can honestly tell a difference and I can’t wait to add one more to our home. Highly recommended.

Have had this for a few days now and seems to work well. We are preparing for a pet in the house soon and overall air quality feels pretty good. The unit itself is pretty quiet. Doesn’t have a remote like some others but this one we keep in a room and gets turned on when we are in it or before we are in it for a while. The size is also nice because it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Overall, good experience so far.

This air purifier was super easy to set up. It comes with an extra filter, which I appreciated. It’s not very loud. I have dogs plus I foster dogs so the air quality in my house is not optimal at times. After running this for only a day, I can tell a big difference.

This Medify Air Purifier has impressed me with the difference it has made for me with my allergies. It works well to remove dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, viruses, bacteria, and even quickly removes odors. The unit has multiple fan speeds and is quieter than I expected it to be. I can even run it at night in my bedroom and don't even notice it. The size is small and the design blends well into my home. The filters are long lasting and so very simple to replace. I love that it has a 4 setting timer, indicator for when filter needs changed, and a child lock for safe use around children and pets. Overall, very pleased with this little work horse of a unit. Excellent choice for any home.

I put this in my bedroom where I keep all of my selling items and packaging. Just letting it run over night I could already smell the difference of the room. Its definitely pulling in some of that basement/ cardboard smell the room had going on! And it doesnt take up much room at all.

I haven’t had this for long but so far very happy! Utilizing in my office as we are 100% in person. I wanted something quiet that got the job done and so far this fits the bill. The footprint is small enough, minimal noise and I’m not sneezing as much as normal so I feel like that is a very good sign!

This machine really helped with my allergies. You know that dust you can see floating through the air? GONE! It is easy to use and I love the night time setting. Only negative is that it takes so long for that "new" smell to fade. I like the compact size and I think it looks sleek.

Really happy with this little machine! I plugged it in after doing some remodeling. Getting everything painted and new carpet left my home with some pretty strong smells and it just didn’t feel as pure as the air we should be breathing. This little air purifier has various speed options but the first two are almost silent. We left our house and came back a couple of hours later and I didn’t smell anything. No fresh paint smell, no weird carpet smell, cooking odors are gone pretty quick and all of our allergies seem to have simmered down a bit. The filter seems like it will last a few months as well! Winning all around!

Was a little apprehensive about this knowing there are high dollar ones on the market, but I was so wrong! It had definitely improved the air quality in my room and helped waking up feeling stuffy. We also accidentally left the stove on the other day and it created an odor in the kitchen. So I moved it over and it eliminated the odor significantly in under 5 minutes. The lowest setting is very quiet and I don’t hear it. If you turn the fan up there is a low noise. Different speeds and features. Very easy to use and has a sleek simple design.
