[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mega Audi Is a very good set for collectors that like to build. Instructions are very clear, and easy to read. I found one small issue with one brick not formed well from the molding process. Exterior printed bricks are a very nice touch and better than the competition. This model is very detailed and very accurate to the 1:1 prototype. Opening hood and engine details are very interesting to look at. Builders of all ages would be thrilled to have this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was pretty easy to follow directions. The parts came in plastic bags that had numbers on it and showed pictures to help. Overall it took 2 days to build. It came with a small car and a tool to remove parts that we placed incorrectly.

When we started, we learned quickly that it was hard to decipher the different colors of black/grey. This made putting the set together difficult. We also found that the pieces did not click together as well as we expected. They were also difficult to take apart when you make a mistake. Overall, the finished product was very cool, but we had challenges with the deciphering the colors in the instruction manual and weren't impressed with the quality of the blocks.

My husband loves European cars so it’s a nice way for the two of them to bond together. He has put together other models like these when he was younger so he was able to give me good feedback on what has changed for the better. First of all, the instruction book is superb and thorough enough that anyone can put it together. Also, it includes a great inventory of all parts so you can keep track of every last piece. Second, the bags with sections are well-organized and labeled for easy identification. This is important so that it doesn’t become overwhelming to put it all together. Third, the die cast model that comes with the kit was a huge hit and the guys were excited about that. Last, the tool that comes with the kit is super helpful and of great use. In addition, there is a QR code to scan to get a digital backup of the instructions which gives you peace of mind. I would say that I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t give this to a mindful teen who likes models, cars and building stuff, etc. Overall, I highly recommend this as a fun little project for the car lover and tinkerer in your life.

I do not see him being careful with it and it not coming into a lot of pieces again, so we will keep the instructions. He thinks it is strange to build a model to display, it must be played with. He loves it so that is all that matters. I just would not buy something such as this. But for an older child who like replicas it would be a good gift.

Overall pretty easy to put together. I love that the hood opens and the trunk, and overall how realistic everything is. The shifter moves and everything! Best part is that it actually comes with a hot wheels diecast replica. My kids thought that was best part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly process was enjoyable and not particularly challenging; however, there are certain aspects of both the construction and accompanying instructions that may pose confusion. The similarity in color among many components makes it difficult to distinguish them from one another, resulting in misplaced pieces within the design. The complexity of the assembly process justifies the 18+ age rating, as I would not recommend it for a younger audience. An additional drawback is the absence of a digital equivalent for the instructions. The ability to manipulate and rotate a 3D model of the instructions would greatly enhance the building experience. In conclusion, despite the aforementioned limitations in the instructions, the overall construction process was enjoyable, and I found satisfaction in the completed product.

It looks like an intimidating project but it's actually not too bad. And I also love that it comes with a little mini car as well so you kind of get an idea of what you are building. The exterior, interior, and engine of the car all have great details and show that this set was meticulously designed and manufactured. The parts go well together and I had no spacing or breaking issues. The instructions are well-illustrated and clear. I spent about 3-4 hours building it, I had to back track on just a few steps due to errors on my part, but carefully looking at the instruction book clarified things quickly. The built set and the die cast car both look fantastic.

You get to build the engine and dashboard, etc. I really liked that there wasn't any stickers to attach, the pictures came on the pieces already. They do hurt your fingers after a while of working because of how tight they fit together but that assures you it shouldnt fall apart. I liked the step by step instructions and how they color code it so you can make sure you are not building it wrong. I did a step wrong and didn't realize it until a few pages ahead due to the picture not lining up. I had to use the tool provided to get them apart to fix the mistake but that was my fault not the instructions. I'd say to make sure all your pieces are snuggly attached at each step so that it doesn't hinder your future steps with misalignments. Overall, I love how it turned out and that it came with the mini model, too! If I had to guess I'd say it took me 4-5 hours to complete the entire car.

The directions made it easy to assemble, although it did take quite some time. The color coded layers in the instructions made it easy to indicate where each piece needed to be placed and the numbered bags allowed for breaks and time to review progress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really enjoyed putting together this model. I feel like it was the right amount of work for teenagers to adults. One bit of feedback would be to work on the instruction book and having clear pictures. Sometimes identifying which piece was difficult as there were similar pieces. Maybe outlining the shapes of the piece in a bright high color would pop out the shapes on the piece making it easier to identify while putting the kit together. Also, the tool given to remove pieces from each other was a little cumbersome. We enjoyed putting this kit together very much. It is now displayed on our computer desk (away from the cats).

Not only will this lego set provide entertainment, it also provides knowledgeable and experience with where parts go! The car building process is very time consuming. I think it will be a great thing to build during winter!
