[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this to my 11 year old Pokemon addict to try! It was packaged nicely as you would expect but it was quite tricky to get some of the parts to connect together, we had to get help from dad as I struggled too! Some of the parts aren’t great at staying together either. I would say this needs to be built by an older child but wouldn’t amuse them for long so if they made it for a younger sibling it may work! Personally I will not be going out to buy more.
Good product, but Mega harder to assemble than Lego.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product and enjoyable to assemble with my children. Mega bricks are often significantly harder to clip together than Lego (especially for young children).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so fun for any building block “master”, or Pokémon lover. It’s great that Mega designed such cool sets that also provide tons of fun once they’re finished too. This Machamp character is a blast. My 8yr old loves to build, and couldn’t wait to get started. It doesn’t take long at all, and goes along with all of their other mega sets. This character even has gears that allow his arms to move! Super cool!!!
Definitely more for older children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son still hasn’t got round to completing. He found the pieces really small and fiddly to put them together, quite stiff as well so had to really force them on. Didn’t find the instructions very helpful, his dad got flustered and gave up before him. I think older children (with more patience) may enjoy it.
Another great collaboration of MEGA and Pokémon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the Mega Pokémon sets! Each addition is great, and they can link together to create your own Pokémon village. Some of the bigger sets, like this Machamp, is a little harder for the little fingers of my son (9) to put together, but he still has a blast working his brain to figure it out. Be prepared for a lot of little pieces, some dedicated time to put it together, and some adult assistance with some of the configurations. Overall, they are a blast and a great way to add some thinking and motor skills to the world of Pokémon!
Way hard for an 8yr old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ugh, my son is 10 and loves Pokémon so I thought he’d love building this. However we found it to be really difficult and hard to put together. Some of the pieces just don’t snap together well! They keep on coming apart. There are also lots of little pieces. I had to spend a lot of time helping me and we were both so frustrated that I never want to build it again! Giving it away!
Machamp set is a champ!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my honest review of the Machamp building set. First, it is a great figure! The size is on the bigger side and the details are nice. There is a wheel mechanism that makes his arms move (left side and ride side, not each of his individual arms). My 9 year old son definitely needed adult assistance putting it together because there are many pieces and we wanted to make sure it was put together correctly (like the arms could move properly and he didn’t fall over). I deducted one star because he doesn’t firmly attach to the base (the holes in the bottom of his feet don’t attach to another brick). Instead, his feet are placed between some bricks to hold him in place. This makes me incredibly nervous because of the time and effort we put in to building him. Overall, he’s a great addition to your pokemon building collection!
A challenging and fun build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is what I would call a medium sized build and complexity. It has enough difficulty to make it a little challenging and fun for my 9 year old. The blocks are good quality, fit together well, and smooth. The design of this character is a little unsteady, and it can be a little difficult to actually play with the figurine since it is so top-heavy and the feet do not click onto the base, they are more steadied by the surrounding blocks. Good for getting it on and off to play with but the trade-off is being unbalanced and tipping over a lot, sometimes breaking off limbs. There is a gear box in the torso and thumbscrew that comes out the back to cause the arms to move/punch which is fun. Love that my kids' favorite characters are available in this format!
Son loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved this. Instructions were easy to follow. Some of the pieces especially the smaller ones were harder to put together but once it was together it seemed sturdy for the most part. I can say that he does not sit on stand right and I had to move a couple pieces for him to fit well and the balance was not centered well
Super fun toy for you block lover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 7 yrsr old son loved putting this together. He is admittedly a lego obsessed child, but we feel like it was definitely easy enough for a child around his age to figure out, maybe with some adult supervision. We definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My eight year old son and I built this together. He loves building block sets and can usually complete them with minimal help. This set was more challenging for him as many of the pieces look similar or are small and hard to click into place. He does not have this problem with another brand. Once it was together he has had a lot of fun playing with it. The motion is his favorite part. There is a red knob on the back and when turned, the figures arms move up and down. The only negative is the red knob easily comes off during play and cause frustration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've put together jumbo Pikachu, Evee and now Machamp. Some of the smaller sets but those weren't as engaged. This set took me about two hours to complete. The instructions were straight forward and very helpful as each section shows which bags to open. The quality is good as usual compared to the other sets from this company.
Very engaging building kit and fun to play with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like the other Pokémon Mega kits my daughters own, the quality and fun are top notch. Opening the box was easy, bags were organized well, and the instructions were easy to follow. I like that the more elaborate kits have interesting and engaging features. This building kit keeps my daughters engaged and focused on building the kit, from start to finish. It was an enjoyable kit to build and fun addition to our Pokémon Mega collection.
Ideal for someone who loves Pokemon & Lego

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item is great! My son loved building one of his favourite Pokemon characters, he is 6 and did need help as i would say it’s definitely more for older kids. Instructions were easy to follow and added bonus that some of the parts move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Building this has been good fun, and this is a great toy for all the Pokémon fans out there. The Machamp figure has the added element of the moving parts once it is built. It is about 7 inches tall when built, and can be displayed after building. We have found that we were missing some pieces, and so we have had to improvise at times. The instructions are very clear to follow, but the pieces are also harder to put together than other similar construction toys, so perhaps better for older children.
Fantastic product and fun to build whilst spending quality family time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my 10 year old so loved building this. It took time and lots of patience but it was worth all the effort we put in to build it. The design is fantastic and very versatile with moving parts and of great value. The quality is fantastic and worth the purchase. It now stands tall in my sons bedroom in a prideful place after having fun building it together.
