[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was an okay product and cute when done, but my 8 year old had a lot of trouble building and needed her older sister to help. She likes it but she also really doesn't do anything with it since she build it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddo had a blast building this one. Had to help with one or two sections, but he loved it. Once done it's super cute and the move when you push on them. Definitely will be getting more other ones if possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pokemon Mega blocks set is super cool and easy to build. It comes packaged nicely with separate pieces in different pouches and easy to read instructions. It was a quick build for my 15 year old and his one and only complaint was some of the pieces were so small and notneasy to manipulate. I'd like to note that hes does like to keep his nails long, that could have been a reason why the smaller pieces weren't as easy for him. What makes this piece even better is the motion, and the view of the moving pieces in my opinion. The Pokemon characters bounce up and down with the press of a little block piece. Not only do they move, but there's clear panels underneath so you can see all the little pieces moving in action which my son and I both think are super cool! We definitely recommend this to any building fan and Pokemon fan of course.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son liked building this set and enjoyed playing with it after. It held his interest for a bit when building but then once it was completed his interest kind of disappear. I think he enjoyed the fact he built it on his own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed helping my kiddo build this! The instructions were fairly easy to read and we spread out the build over a few evenings. The characters move with a lever and are cute as can be. The greenery as decoration is an added touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega mini motion Dugtrio Pokemon building set is a cute and challenging project. My daughter, who is an autistic adult, but is mentally closer in age to someone between 12 and 15 years of age, was the first person to try putting this building set together. She enjoys megas and building sets, but up to this point she has only put together smaller sets, each of those without help. Being able to work on something by herself is very important to her. That is one of the many wonderful things about megas and other building sets; they not only encourage independent play or creating fun projects for families to work on together, but sets like these help a child learn to follow instructions, help develop fine motor skills, and instill a sense of accomplishment. She wanted to try the same with this set, working on her own, but she ran into a couple of difficulties. The first issue was the lack of a device to pull the pieces apart once they were snapped together. If you make a mistake and put two wrong pieces together, it is nearly impossible to get the pieces apart afterwards. I tried pulling them apart too, which I did, but with difficulty. Second, my daughter said she would have liked there to be more detailed, visible or illustrated directions. White the illustrations in the directions helped, she still found some steps to be confusing. Perhaps a link presented in the direction booklet to a video in which someone walks you through the building process, building the project together, would be of benefit to those putting together a mega set. She said it would have helped her to “see” the instructions because at one point she became confused about what part went where. My daughter can read very simple directions, but she learns faster with visible instructions such as several detailed photos or maybe a link to a video that shows someone putting the toy together, explaining what they are doing as they go.

This item was a hit as well. Adorable when finished. Fun to put together. Movement makes it cool. Definitely recommend for older kids and maybe not so kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a really fun build! The motion aspect of it is so cool! The Dugtrio move up and down by pushing down on one of the bricks. The heads rotate on 2 of them. My favorite feature is the protion with the clear blocks which allows you to look inside of the build to see how the mechanisms that you built work. It is also a very solid and sturdy set. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 year old daughter enjoyed putting this together. The prepackaged bags were easy to put together with the easy instructions. The instructions had color indications to where to put each piece. When there were multiple pieces to put together on a step, they would have a alternating colors to indicate which piece goes where. It came with a few extra pieces I guess if any were to go missing but all the pieces were there. It also came with different nameplates to chose from. When she was finished, she showed me that the characters go up and down when she pushed down a brick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I assembled the Pokémon mini motion Dugtrio by MATTEL mega blox. Let me start by saying I am not good at assembling anything that's complicated. This box has 350 pieces to assemble with a very detailed description of each step. It walks you through it step by step. There are 95 steps in the booklet. It took me about 4 hours and 30 minutes. It looks identical to the picture on the box. I had some difficulty understanding the steps even though they are clearly represented in the pictures. I tend to get confused then frustrated. I do not enjoy blocks, however my sons really love them. They helped me through the process. In all the finished project is neat. It moves as shown on the box. Its difficult to move and feels slightly unsturdy. I think the rating of 13+ is acceptable. I doubt a younger children would have the patience to assemble this project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14-year-old chose this to build for his little sister who loves Pokemon. He loves doing these construction sets, and this one has bonus movement as well as being a display piece. The pieces came in numbered bags which makes it easy during the building process so you don't have hundreds of pieces surrounding you at once. It also comes with a brick separator, which is CRUCIAL; if you make a mistake, it is extremely difficult to take some of these bricks apart. The separator saves your fingernails (and teeth!) from having to break these apart! The instructions are very clear telling you to put which bricks where. There is a step near the beginning that can be a little nerve wracking; it is when you are making the parts that will move. You have to place 2 rubber band-like pieces on and stretch them. You want to make sure that you DO NOT let go before you insert the piece that will hold them on; otherwise, they might fly off and hit you in the face. Good thing these pieces stay together well, because once you have those rubber band pieces attached, they are not going anywhere! This set also includes nameplates in 4 different languages, so you can change them out as you wish. When completed, it is a great display piece, but also has a cool motion added to it! The button that activates the motion blends in with the "rocks" that surround the figure. There are also some transparent bricks on the side so you can see the movement components in action! This set is perfect for any Pokemon fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a fun build. But it was missing one piece and one piece broke during assembly due to weak manufacturing. The mechanics work well except the singlets could be attached better. Cute build but don’t recommend due to issues had during assembly.
